That image brings back memories right there. I think I even had it as a wallpaper at some point.
If you missed the finale, you can watch it here:
Part 1
Part 2
Another note: We are going to go ahead and wait until the US release on these before doing the followups. The screenshots aren't great, and a lot of people are actually avoiding these releases.
Anyway, head on down below for today's pony!

New York Comic Con was somewhat limited this year on pony stuff, but they did have this awesome pony covered car up on display for Guardians of Harmony. With as much marketing is going into this one, it's still surprising to me that we aren't getting a side series for it.
I suppose if it sells enough toys we might get a chance at one. I've been pimping them every chance I get here on EQD for that reason.
Anyway, get an image of the front of the car below.

DJT has made some really awesome music recently and this new release doesn't disappoint. Combining some awesome sound design and pony vocals to create a high energy and fast-moving future bass track, he's also enlisted the help of Puffy to add to the vocal sampling, and provide an inspirational message in the middle of the track. This track really, to me, absolutely exemplifies what the pony fandom stands for, and it's certainly worth a listen for that and the other reasons mentioned above - so check it out after the break!

One of the best parts of heading to big conventions like New York Comic Con, is that occasionally the opportunity arises to conduct an interview with one of the companies that's there to advertise their products. Like the one that popped up to interview Mandy Paez, Brand Marketing Associate at Backflip Studios. Which as you might be able to tell from the header above, is the game company that's developing the game My Little Pony: Puzzle Party!
Now to answer the obvious question of why they were present at NYCC? Or more specifically Hasbro's press event before the convention? We'll there's a very good reason for that.
The game's World Wide Release date is this Thursday. October 13th, 2016.
Thanks to the efforts of The Slorg, we already have an in depth review of the game. And after the break you'll be able to find what went into the development of the game, the future of the game, an approximate time frame for Season 7's premiere, and wait… what?
That's right folks, we got an approximate time frame for the premiere of Season 7. It's in a time frame that fits in quite well with the logic that WeAreBorg figured out back for the premiere of season 6.
Check it out below!

Remember that one time when Rarity was having Rainbow Dash try on various uniforms, but Twilight screwed up a spell and sent her to earth in the middle of a crowded Japanese street where a talent scout was wandering by and after dealing with a bunch of squealing girls with camera phones crowding around hired her as a model for a school girl clothing company where she became a worldwide icon in 4 legged fashion that eventually caused pet stores around the world to start stocking the same costume for bored dog and cat owners to torture their animals with for silly instagram pictures and I have no idea where this is going I have a lot of work to do and this sentence has no periods so I should stop.

Someone going by the name of JediPippin over on the Lego Ideas site has a new idea up for a full set of ponies and Fluttershy's Cottage in Lego form. We tried one of these in the past but didn't quite make it, maybe we can pull it off now?
Right now it requires 10000 supporters to happen, meaning you all will need to spread this absolutely everywhere to make it a thing. The creator put a ton of work into crafting the set up above. There are about 20 images showing off everything included in it.
Head on down below to check it out!

Now that everyone LOVES TRIXIE thanks to her stellar performance in "No Second Prances" and other things, I bet I'm not the only one chomping at the bit for her upcoming book. Unfortunately, it has had it's date shifted again. March 7th is the new release for the paperback, ebook, and audio book versions. Clearly they just need extra team to celebrate in her excellence.
Expect plenty of coverage here when it becomes available for pre-orders or adds a cover.
Thanks to Brony250 for the heads up.

Brilliant Venture seems to have one mission - to mash together as many wubs and pony vocals as possible. This tracks certainly pushes him further along that adventure with an awesome mix of complextro sounds, and pony samples galore. The build up to the drop especially makes fantastic use of the 'I've Been Dreaming' song from Rainbow Dash. If ponies and chilled out complextro drops are your thing, this is more than worth a listen!

A build-a-bear teaser magazine has revealed the next pony to join their recently stagnant lineup of plushies. It looks like we are getting the oldschool pony, Minty! Whether this is a hint at an upcoming episode or movie appearance, or just a throwback remains to be seen. I wouldn't mind seeing how they handle the original sock mare in the show though.
It better involve socks.
Thanks to Babs (@TDot_Babs on Twitter) for the heads up! -
Animation: A Paper Derpy Paradox

Get a new Paper Derpy animation after the break!

Kadenza has been releasing pretty awesome house and hands up music for a while now, but here they've added in a little extra flavour to the mix. This track is absolutely still a hands up banger at heart, but has some beautiful orchestral sections which help to make it a bit more unique, and even some D&B too! Kadenza's productions are always incredibly polished, as shown by their achievements outside of the pony fandom too - recently they've been releasing some music on non-pony netlabel 99Lives, the second pony artist to do that after house king Archie. Back to the track though, if super hyped up dance-y EDM is what you're after, this is where to get it, so check it out below!op 9:00 AM

Music: Jyc Row, Francis Vace & WoodLore - Warriors Of Griffonstone [Celtic Rock]
by ExplodingPonyToastSomething special this way comes, with a collaboration between 3 incredible musicians in the fandom. Jyc Row's orchestral composition skills, and the guitars of Francis Vace and WoodLore, as well as the vocals of all three of them combine to form one of the most awesome 3-way features I've heard in some time. The beautiful celtic-feeling melodies, powerful guitars and brilliant sounding vocals definitely make this something well worth giving a listen. -
lia;quo made their fandom debut with their track on Ponies at Dawn's last album, Awakening. For this album however they've come up with something incredibly special. This fandom's had plenty of mashups in its time, with some actually being pretty awesome! However this track goes beyond that, and is a remix, of sorts, of the entire 54-track album. Whilst only about a dozen tracks are especially obvious, the entirety of what they used where is available in the description. I am personally spellbound by how well they managed to fit everything together, and the elements of their own that they added just serve to enhance the experience. One of the most technically impressive pony tracks this year, it's absolutely worth diving into!op 12:00 AM
