Nightly Roundup #954
by Calpain
I've never watched Game of Thrones, but maybe I should someday. Thanks for the banner Stainless and RainbowBash!
Hey again everyone! I am finally back from BABSCon and it feels great to do these again. I really did miss you all. Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend and that you all enjoyed the episode. I'll be doing a writeup of the convention this week so look forward to that if you're curious.
Now, on to the news! Huzzah!

Someone needs to create a side series based on the concept of Trixie traveling in the world in a balloon. Not because Trixie is the greatest and most powerful pony who needs her own side series. Not even because Trixie is blue with an awesome butt symbol. No, Trixie may be the epitomee of pony evolution, but she isn't the reason for this idea. I'm not going to tell you the reason though.
We have 11 more songs tonight, catching us up in the music of the day queue. Hopefully the next few days will be smoother once again!

Rain Shadow has compiled up all the glorious BGM found within "Trade Ya!". I actually met a few people at BABSCon who had this stuff on their playlists. Now we just need a CD with all of it.
Get the playlist over here, or check it all out below the break!

Royal Couple Celebrates 2nd Anniversary!
by Calpain
The Hub tossed this up not too long ago that it's our favorite husbandhorse and wifehorse's anniversary today! Who could believe it has been two years already? Man I feel old...
Anyhow, hey guys! I'm back! BABSCon was fun, but all good things have to end. I'll see you all for the Roundup at 10pm as always.

The team over at Bronies For Good has another Kallisti event planned for the 3rd of May at noon EDT (4PM UTC). Some of the big time guests include Tara Strong, Anneli Heed, Nicole Oliver, Jennifer Weiß and Cinty Marrow. Spotlight Music: Panic / Black Snooty / The History of the Wonderbolts (174UDSI Dirty Remix)
by Sethisto
We have no idea what genre to give that first one, and it wasn't noted in the submission. It's totally out there though, so expect something a bit more experimental than we usually have in here.
Slot number two is a remix of History of the Wonderbolts house style, and the third is a sorta instrumenta/vocal combo original track! Get all of them below!
1.) Cats Millionaire - Black Snooty (Cherax Destructor's Obsidian Mix) (Vocal)
2.) The History of the Wonderbolts (174UDSI Dirty Remix) (Remix - House)
3.) Holding You - Panic (Instrumental/Kinda Vocal - House)

Chief Doggingfood has released another YTPMV following a similiar style to the Summer Sun Celebration we all loved so much a while back. Head on down below the break to check it out!

Not even classic images are safe from ponification. I've always wanted to do that.

For all of you following the paperback pony series by G.M. Berrow, the next installment has been revealed over on Hachette Book Group. Starring Fluttershy this time around, we have a January 6, 2015 release date on it. Unfortunately there aren't any images available yet of the cover, so have a cute fluttershy instead. Head on down below the break for the description!

I'm not sure if this is a planned series of promotional videos for each pony, but it's way better than that oldschool one they usually use. The official My Little Pony Youtube page has tossed up a video dedicated to Rainbow Dash. Head on down below the break to check it out!

Galacon has arrived with this year's animated promo, bringing on the ever amazing Jan Animations for the project. Even if you aren't able to fly all the way out to Ludwigsburg, Germany this year, It's still worth watching for the sake of how well done it is. I don't need to tell you that though.
Head on down below the break for everything!

In the world of big business, revenue is usually the force that eclipses everything. If something is increasing that overall %, chances are it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The Girls category over at Hasbro is reporting a whopping 21% increase, crediting both My Little Pony and Equestria Girls as the primary sources. To put it in perspective, it looks like Boys only increased by 2%, while their games and preschool business both fell by -4%.
With season 5 confirmed a few months ago, and pony in general rumoring action long into the future, I don't think this ride will end any time soon.
Full report over here, thanks to SleepySteve, Mike, Matt, and everyone else for the heads up!
Update: Video report here. -
Want 200 songs to Dance and or tap the keyboard rapidly to? Trotmania Crystallize (and sister project TrotMania Crusaders) has hit it's final update, calling it complete. For those that haven't been following the project, it is a complete ponification of the popular Stepmania Dance Dance Revolution style game. Expect ponies, and expect a bit of Frozen to top it off.
Full Press release:
After its launch in July of 2013, the game has received consistent support, including copious amounts of brony songs and even a sister project with many popular songs. Now, in April of 2014, the finale for both has been reached, with a Groove Radar-topping chart for Alex S.'s remix of the MLP Theme and the crystallized concoction of frost Let It Go sending off the 2 series along with all remaining songs that weren't available for standard play for DanceDanceRevolution gameplay. Check out further details on the site
Now go MASH SOME ARROWS.

Someone accidentally lost the SFM folder in the submit box. Derpy would be proud. I'm sure a bunch of you have seen this re-enactment of the Coco Pommel scene by now, but if you haven't, and you like SFM ponies, it's really well done.
Slot #2 is dominate by a sad Pinkamena style thing, and the third is a super short almost gif style from Agrodaemon. Get all below!

It looks like the weird roundup schedule these last few days due to the convention has exhausted the folder once agai! It's a little on the empty side. I'm rolling with Calpain's idea and doing a Nightly Discussion instead! Topic: Flutterbat. Do you want her back? Would you watch a series based on Fluttershy's batty adventures?
And if that isn't your thing, talk about anything else to! Now go!
