Hot on the heels of the earlier news that The Haunting of Equestria is available for Pre-Order on Amazon, comes the news that the book is available to order RIGHT NOW straight from the game's creator and development company River Horse.
Furthermore, every single previous release in the series is can also be ordered from River Horse for delivery to the United States.
This means no more months and months of delays between the world wide release and the United States release. This means no more guessing as to when the book is going to be available in comic shops. This means no more dealing with Diamond's convoluted pre-order system for games!
You can order it as soon as it is released from River Horse and it will arrive in your mail box in a little under two weeks (owing to overseas shipping from the United Kingdom and US Customs Clearance).
This is huge and amazing news and I couldn't be happier about this!

The year is 2022, and after the G5 flopped, Hasbro has decided to double-down on G4 once again! But with different ponies, cause after the flood of mane 6 merchandise it's getting hard to sell more purple alicorns to little girls. So many purple alicorns.
Luckily, they have a cast of hundreds of other ponies to do stuff with who haven't had nearly as much repeat toys! Rejoice!
Our hypothetical hasbro executive is back again and absorbed you from whatever you are doing in 3 years to help decide on what the movie will be about. The only rule? It can't star the mane 6. They can be supporting backgrounder characters, but this one focuses entirely on a new set of pones.

You can now pre-order The Haunting of Equestria, the Tails of Equestria side adventure over on Amazon. We covered this one a while ago, but their shipping is from Europe so this is a bit more economical way for those in the states.
It still has a ways to go with a release date out in August of next year, but if you want in on it pick it up here.

The surface isn't safe anymore.
Over a thousand years after the triumphant return of Princess of Luna, ponykind has abandoned the surface of Equestria. They now live on great floating islands, held aloft by powerful spells cast so long ago that none alive can remember their origin.
Magic is slipping away from ponykind, with most born completely lacking in cutie marks. There are no alicorns. The pegasi cannot fly, the earth ponies are weak, and the unicorns have no spells. Those Gifted who are lucky enough to be born with marks go on dangerous expeditions into the land below, salvaging magic and materials from the wreckage of the world long past.
It is on one of these expeditions that six mares are found, long forgotten but miraculously preserved. Though they cannot remember what happened to the world, they still possess the powerful magic of the old times. On the empty horizons of the brave new world, an unknown threat closes in, steadily wiping out entire cities at a time as it advances.
It's up to the Elements of Harmony to discover what happened to their world, save it from this new threat, and search for some way to bring things back to how they once were.
It isn't going to be easy.

When was the last time we rocked a Ponies in the Media post? It feels like forever. An Australian show called HardQuiz ran a pony segment. They ask various questions from both G4 and oldschool pony. The entire thing is viewable over here from Australia, but other countries will have to settle for the preview on Facebook (or VPN it).
