Apparently in our quest for headers of unique ponies we've let some old standbys fall by the wayside so let us fix that a little with some Fluttershy tonight! Sorry for no Roundup last night, but things were incredibly slow so we decided it was best to let things pile up for tonight.

In Rememberance of Kiki

A week has already come and gone since the passing of Kiki last weekend, but during this week of remembrance many of you gave your condolences to the family in the form of artwork, videos, messages, songs, and any number of wonderfully heartfelt gestures. Tonight we'd like to present to the family what the community has sent us and once again extend our best wishes to the family and our greatest thanks to this wonderful community.

Rest in peace, Kiki. This is for you.

Flash Fanfiction Event #3 - Father's Day

      Well, hello to you, one and all! Here we are with event number three! I apologize for the delay on this, the past couple weeks have been wearying IRL and I kinda spaced on doing this yesterday.

     So, this is going to be a short and sweet post, nothing overly fancy.  Write a fic celebrating the fathers in the series.  Doesn't matter if they're fanon or canon, since there's so few.

     As a small side note, due to the delay, you have a bit of extra time to write.  You have until Tuesday night at midnight to write on this, and you can start as soon as it's Sunday where you are.  Everything else applies as normal, e-mail me at knowledgeabounds@gmail.com, as ever if you have questions and to submit your fics.

Spotlight Music: Make it Special / Lazy Applejack

I bet a bunch of you have already seen that first once, since we are pretty late on it, but go watch it again and nostalgia out about glorious early season pony music combined with middle season stuff.

Awesome PMV: The Dive Game

Rainbow Dash and Dubstep.  These two are almost as good a combo as Rainbow Dash and rock music.  Toss some wubs in with another incredibly stylized custom animation up the wazoo PMV's and you have something dashing~.  Alright that was corny.  Go watch this one below the break.

Yesterday we saw Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Sunset Shimmer revealed, and today the rest of the mane cast have decided to join in.   I'll let you guys be the judge on these.  Click the images to check them out!

The New Lunar Republic Part 1

We don't have a whole lot of live action stuff 'round these parts, but these guys flexed their editing muscles and have released part one of a five part Lunar Republic live action movie.  Have a description:

1000 years before the Mane Six, 1000 years before Luna's escape, there was a rebellion. A movement to end the tyrant Celestia's rule. Many would say that this never happened, that Luna was a traitor as were all of her followers. But history is written by the victors.

So far, it seems like they have a pretty solid setup going.  Some of the acting is a little off, but that isn't a rarity in the pony fandom, and some of it is actually really well done!  Overall it's worth a look if you are in the mood for something new.  Check it out below the break!

Drawfriend Stuff #835

Some would say I am biased.  I would argue that Trixie just works with everything.  Steampunk? She looks great in steampunk.  Epic sorcery? Shes the Greatest and Most Powerful unicorn in all of Equestria.  Romance? Twixie borrows it's name from the best candybar out there.  Caramel, cookie, and chocolate is a match made in whatever pony heaven is.

EqG Dolls Now On Sale - Prices Revealed

Just a day after pictures of some of the EqG toy line were revealed we have begun receiving reports of the toys starting to pop up on online retailers such as Entertainment Earth and Amazon has a page for the Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle doll at least (thanks to all those who managed to find them!). While the information on the page over at Entertainment Earth is rather sparse it looks like we finally have some prices for the new toy line and now anyone interested in buying them can see how much it will set them back.

They definitely seem a little pricey, especially the Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash dolls! I wonder why the increase in price over the others? At any rate, it appears a roll out of the line is starting to ramp up and we can probably expect to see more of the dolls popping up at other retail sites soon.

Another New Pinkie Pie Variant

Yet another new variant has popped up, this time sold by Source Comics and Games for the upcoming Pinkie Pie micro series edition.  I'm actually really looking forward to this one.  I just finished the Fluttershy comic a few hours ago and loved it.

New "Rainbooms" Trademark Filed Earlier this Month

Similiar to how Equestria Girls first appeared to the public, another new trademark has been filed by Hasbro for a toyline going by the name of "Rainbooms".  According to the identification section, this one is specifically targeting:

Toy ponies and accessories for use therewith; dolls, doll clothing and doll accessories for use therewith

 I guess only time will tell what it actually is!
