It's Memorial Day here in the states, but we aren't the only country with an active military out there risking their lives. Whether you celebrate that or not, I think we can all appreciate the sacrifices men and women around the globe have made.
This fandom loves decking out ponies in combat gear, weaponry, and other badass implements. It's something that we probably won't ever see in the show outside of simple armors and swords. Time to make ponies even more BADASS.

We've come a long way with Derpy Hooves over the years. What started off as a silly animation joke from the guys over at Top Draw, turned into a beloved fandom icon. Officially, she was Derpy before the ninja edit, but since then she has been largely un-named. Some licensees call her bubbles, or blond pegasus. It's sort of a mix.
Yesterday the MLP Facebook asked "What unlikely thing will happen next?" after Gilda teamed up with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie for Friendship. Included in the list was "muffins" fixing the Golden Oak Library.
Is this her new official name? Or just another representation of the pony we all call Derpy? I for one will stick to the fandom version!
