Dizzy spells can be useful for a quick get away, but I don't think it's a good idea to try them out on your friends, Twi.

Undertale may have had simple combat graphics, but man were they effective. I think it translates over to other things pretty well too! Hold out and keep using Friendship, Twilight!
Evening guys, the weekend is here. Ready to chat?

I was surprised to see one of these pop up in my dA box! Man, this meme was everywhere half a year ago or so! Looks like Nightmare Moon doesn't appreciate it too much though, heh.

The ponies we know and love are quite obviously very different from the equines we have in our world. Apart from the fact our pastel friends can fly and use magic they have a smaller, stockier frame and probably most importantly a larger cranium for increased brain mass and a shorter muzzle to cut back on the natural blindspot that horses have.
But the evolution of creatures in the world of FiM, especially our ponies and other sentient species have another factor to include: magic. The utilization of magic has very apparent benefits, from pegasi being able to walk on clouds and fly with wings that appear to not quite fit with their bodies, to unicorns whose direct manipulation of magic allow for spectacular feats a pony couldn't do naturally.
Considering these clear advantages, why does it seem that most sentient species in the world outside Equestria have not evolved to take advantage of the natural phenomenon of magic? Is magic something unique only to certain parts of the world of FiM such as in the land of the Changelings and in Equestria? If so, why would this be exactly? If magic is in fact uniform throughout the world of FiM why have we not seen Yak, Zebra, Griffon, ect magic casters?
While some of these questions could be answered in future episodes of the show I want to know what you guys think with what we know about Equestria from the show and from books and comics outside the show.
Let me know your thoughts down in the comments!

Each season comes with a toy line and modification to the official My Little Pony website, and similar to last year's Cutie Mark Magic, Explore Equestria looks to be the name of the game this time around. We saw this in the Pinkie Pie swan boat that became an actual teaser for an upcoming episode. The My Little Pony Facebook page has been hinting at traveling for a while now to top it off.
A new website update doesn't actually reveal anything else spoilery from the 6th season yet, but quite a bit of it is grayed out for the future. Only Manehattan is fleshed out, which again, doesn't reveal much.
Here's to hoping they wander places other than what are on the map! I need some bat ponies in Hollow Shades or I'll lose my mind!
Thanks to Nick for sending it. -
Equestria Daily Exclusive: IDW Celebrates Art Appreciation Month with My Little Pony!
by The Illustrious Q
Celebrate iconic artwork throughout history with special IDW variant covers during Art Appreciation Month this April!
Amy Mebberson has returned and created the cover for this special event—which just so happens to be her one hundred and first cover for IDW's My Little Pony Comic Line!
Ms. Mebberson's cover is a beautiful homage of Georges Seurat's famous A Sunday on Le Grande Jatte—which is on permanent display at the Art Institute of Chicago—and she expertly recreates the microdot style that Seurat employed for his piece.
Other comics included in the month's festivities include Back to the Future, Donald Duck, Judge Dredd, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, The October Faction, Star Trek, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The X-Files.
Be sure to check back for updates throughout the day as more covers are revealed for Art Appreciation Month!
