We've got a few people requesting to stream the shorts that will be airing sometime soon so we're getting this post up a little early! After the movie tonight on Discovery Family we're supposed to get some more Summer Shorts so check on after the break for the streams and eventual download links!
According to my DirecTV guide the movie ends at 9pm EST but since the shorts are playing right after the movie I expect it's within the movie runtime they have scheduled so I think they could air anywhere between 8:30pm-9pm EST reasonable. I'll change this notice if others have heard or seen different.

A while back, we posted the Polish version of the Equestria Girls magazine that is releasing over in Europe last month. The book has since made it's way to the UK, with translations corrected and a bonus comic starring the CMC and Pinkie Pie.

We still need a translation on this one, but the European magazine for August has officially hit shelves, this time dedicated all out to Pinkie Pie. They also reset the issue #'s for some reason, even though they aren't going to be following the trend of mane 6 pony re-dos. Tempest Shadow is the star next month!

With the technically official release date of the My Little Pony movie merchandise upon us, stores are now being absolutely flooded with new toys. Walmart's exclusive pirate figures, new Fashion Style brushables, seaponies, Guardians of Harmony Storm King, and even some Equestria Girls Mini sets are all now available. We've posted a few of these being available already (namely Storm king at Gamestop), but a lot of this is brand new.
Outside of the pirate ponies, everything should be available at most places that regularly carry pony, while the pirates are only at Walmart.

Two new pony merch lines have popped up over on Amazon. The Sea Pony plushies revealed earlier this year, and the "All About" lineup of brushables from Toy Fair are both up now.

A few days ago, Toys R' Us released a trailer for the My Little Pony movie, complete with 30 seconds of a brand new song. Strangely enough, the instrumental for it has started making the rounds on the ponynet, but in it's complete three minute and twenty second form.

Francis Vace always makes awesome instruments, and whilst usually they come with his vocals too, this time they're provided by collaborative partner PegasYs. Even though PegasYs focuses a lot more on the production side of things nowadays, his vocals are still top notch! The guitar sounds awesome and the mood of the track is mellow, contemplative and yet still has some nice energy to it. Check it out below!

Good evening once again my friends! I hope you all had a decent time with this particularly prompt, I noticed quite a few of you were quite creative when it came to putting your ponies in peril (or 'steeling' themselves for that matter) and I couldn't be prouder to see you experimenting with all sorts of settings to accomplish that! Your pics have certainly gotten more complex as we've gone along and we're only at the one week mark!
Even better we managed to get a total of 175 ponies this time around, bringing us up to 1243 ponies in total! Considering only a slight decrease from day to day you guys are really hanging in there, keep it up!
Now that our ponies have faced the unknown and looked into the jaws of peril I think they need a little bit of a break, don't you? That's why today's prompt is something a bit more in line with simple slice of life: Draw a pony modeling / Draw a model pony citizen. It may seem mundane, I want to give you all an opportunity to get the hang of yet more poses, but more importantly a chance to let your imagination extend to clothing as well if your heart so desires.
While our ponies are naturally in the buff it can't be denied they are lovers of fine fashion as well so giving yourself a chance to dress them up this time around will let you practice how clothing works on a pony and let your imaginations design something fabulous for them. Of course, I happily expect a bunch of fun takes on this prompt as well!
