One thing that hasn't slowed down at all over the years, is the act of pony ROMANCE. This fandom loves to ship some cartoon horses. From the Flutterdashes to the Twipies and Twixie's beyond, it has invaded pretty much every aspect of what we do.
Some people like to see weird matchups though! Discord and Celestia used to fall into that category before it exploded after season four. As is the norm for fan bases, building our own canon to make something work is just part of the game.
So, which ships do you like that aren't the norm? Does Luna fall in love with Photo Finish? Or maybe a bit of Lyra hooking up with Big Mac?
Discuss below!

A company called Stern, that seems to focus primarily on pop-culture themed Pinball Machines, may have a My Little Pony version coming in the future. A Twitch streamer who specializes in pinball recently dropped it in the middle of one of his events. Apparently cartoon horses will be joining Game of Thrones in their next round of releases.
Right now, we don't have any official confirmation, but it could be a neat little thing to hunt down at arcades in the future. I wonder where we will see one of these pop up?
Update: Confirmed fake! Doh
Thanks to Princess Horse for the heads up.

In a hypothetical mirror dimension, this is now a thing. How awesome is that? Would you watch this new Fluttershy and Totoro crossover?

NOTE: Event Currently on Hold. More details later.
Lauren Faust opened up quite a bit during her panel at EQLA. If you haven't caught up on that yet, you can find the full summary over here. Many of wondered how things are going four years after her departure from the show, and to be honest I was hoping it would be a bit more bright.
At the end of the day, none of us would be here if it wasn't for her. When Hasbro pitched that G4 pony thing her way all those years ago, she took what could have just been another toy commercial cash grab, and transformed it into what is essentially one of those most industry changing cartoons of the last few years. Everyone out there wants a piece of what pony did. From the world and characters, to the quality that brought us all in early and kept us here until now, the foundation of Friendship is Magic really is something special.
So, what can you do to show your support and appreciation? The fandom is talented in just about every sector, so lets open it up!
If you can draw, write, craft, or anything else, it's time to do it! If you can't do any of that, just spreading the word to those that might not follow EQD anymore would help. Lets make this epic!
Head on down below the break for what to submit, and how to do it!

Equestria LA has come and gone, and to all of you lucky enough to make it down to the 90210 this past weekend, you have my sincerest and utmost jealousy. This horse had an apartment to move into.
So in the meantime, I'd like to talk a little about my time at BronyCAN. My name is CouchCrusader, here to offer a uniquely American take on a Canadian classic below the break.

MA Larson recently posted a video from EQLA to his Youtube, capturing William Anderson and Tina Guo as they reenacted Octavia's and Vinyl's collaboration from "Slice of Life". I could hear the crowd cheering from outside the room as I was putting together the Faust panel coverage, so I had a feeling that it would be unforgettable. Now that I see the video, it's certainly a sight to behold. Get the video after the break, courtesy of MA Larson!
