Joining Cheese Sandwich from earlier, it's looking like Maud Pie is also now available at Hot topic stores! Multiple people are confirming them being in stock.
Be sure to call in first, but it's looking like this is a full blown release of the two of them.

I need to seriously commission Agnes for a SPOC Sneak Peek Header. Eh, when I has the monies I'll probably do just that at the next convention I see her at.
As you can probably tell, Agnes Garbowska has tossed up a Single Panel Out of Context Sneak Peek for the thirty-ninth issue of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! What sweet little pony could she have drawn for this issue? Considering which ponies the arc stars, I'm sure there's only a handful of candidates.
However, what's contained below the break show ring and bells that might have forgotten about what's coming up. Be sure to check it out!

What I love about Trade Paperbacks is that it's very easy to store them on a shelf designed for books and still have easy access to them whenever I want to read them. They're a breeze to organize! And keeping them on a bookshelf leaves them nicely displayed for… me… myself… and I to gaze upon in awe.
…
That actually sounded a lot better in my head. Not that my growing wall of DrawerBoxes is anything to sneeze at, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but there are days when it's just easier to pull a trade paperback off a shelf and read the comic than it is to unbag and unboard a single issue to read a story.
Yes, I am well aware that digital is even easier. In fact, I read digital more often than not. But dang it, I like paper! There is just something about reading a paper book in your hands that a digital screen just can't replicate.
So, for those of you looking to either reread Friends Forever Issues 17 – 20 OR you're experiencing them for the first time remember that you can order the trade from Amazon and have it delivered right to your door! Two weeks from now. On December 17th.
Or you can visit your local comic shop and pick it up today!

Nightly Discussion #550
by Calpain
We've come a long way from having villains that just threatened to cover the world in endless night. Nowadays they are all into time travel and laser beams. Whatever happened to the simple things? Boy, kids these days.

Well this is a first! Heather Breckel—IDW's MLP Colorist—has tossed up a Single Panel Out of Context Sneak Peek! Usually these type of previews come from those who draw the comics, so having Heather toss one up is extra special!
It also helps that the preview also gives a look into her coloring process for a certain rainbow maned pony.
If you want to check it out, you can find it below the break!

we have a lot of different categories of PMV's this late in the fandom. I am always stumped on what you all will like. These are pretty heavy on the effects. What do you all think of that? too much?
Discuss and get three PMVS below! The first one is pretty shippy, so avoid it if you don't like that.

Ratings Are In For The Cutie Re-Mark
by Calpain
Not sure what to make of the numbers in comparison to the rest of the season, so take it all with a grain of salt. Doesn't take away from the finale being incredibly fun and a great end to a great season.
There is the issue of Thanksgiving knocking Nielsen families off of the airwaves. That would be the most likely culprit.
Thanks to Toxic Mario for sending it in.

Remember that one time when Rainbow Dash actually DID dress in style, but it was only because she lost a bet with Twilight and had to enter a "cutest pony ever" fashion contest? Who would have thought she'd win.

The My Little Pony IDW Holiday special is already available on iTunes early, but it looks like they aren't the only one skipping that whole street date thing. The variant cover above was found at "Books a Million", hitting shelves today.
If you have a store nearby, you might want to call in and see if they have any.
Thanks to Jeffrey for the image.

Some things just don't translate over to the pony world very well. Though why Sunset would suggest something like this is another question altogether. Maybe she has a little bit of prankster in her, heh.

With the 5th season under our belts, and the internet adjusting to its aging pony inhabitants, we are once again seeing a lot of gloom and doom out there calling for the end of cartoon horse. Friendship is Magic is a whopping 5 years old now, and there have been quite a few radical shifts in fandom activity throughout its domination of nerd culture.
Right now, we have a sixth season and major movie release on the horizon with rumblings that these are the last. Is there any evidence of this? Not yet. People care about ponies though, so it's only natural to be worried. Earlier in the year, I wrote up a piece on the fandom's overall health, which helped quite a few people put their fears to rest. I guess this can be considered the long awaited part two?
Below the break, let's dig into the current hiatus, future of the show, what Hasbro may or may not be planning, and even some EQD stuff!

iTunes Preview for My Little Pony Comic #37 - (Siege of the Crystal Empire Part 4) Appears!
by Sethisto
The Siege of the Crystal Empire has it's 4th installment releasing on the 16th of December, and iTunes has released it's usual preview to get us all excited for it. This has to be the creepiest thing I've seen in MLP yet.
Get it down below!

iTunes has accidently broke the street date on the My Little Pony holiday special. If you have no idea what that is, we broke the news a while back over here. Long story short, it's a holiday themed extra comic for you all to scoop up.

Funko's Cheese Sandwich figure has started to make it's way to Hot Topic retail stores. He and Maud Pie were announced a while ago, and still haven't appeared on the actual website. Australia has access to them from Popculcha, but everywhere else has been silent.
Hopefully we see them invade online soon, but until then, you might want to check nearby Hot Topic stores for Cheese and Maud.

MLP: Friends Forever #23 Released Today! - Download Links, Variants, Discussion!
by The Illustrious Q"No. I'm simply saying that life, uh… finds a way." Dr. Ian Malcolm—Jurassic Park
As much as the outfits that Applejack and Fluttershy are wearing are homages to Jurassic Park, I can't help but feel like there's another reference to her cover. Something that I can't quite put my finger on, and yet almost feels Disney like in quality.
Eh it's probably nothing.
Anyways, who here is ready to see a talking pegasus and a talking horse go looking Equestria's version of Big Foot? You know, two impossible to exist creatures going after the impossible to exist in their world creature.
…
Well I find the meta humor funny. And for those of you who prefer to get your laughs from colorful equines, you can pick up the story from the usual links below!
