If you aren't one of those people that follows the deeper fandom drama, you may be surprised to hear that the recent episode sparked a bit of controversy from a few of the more vocal members of the Tumblr world. While we usually avoid drama like this, It's worth posting up what Peter New (The voice actor behind Big Mac) recently dropped over on Facebook.
If you are curious about delving into it, head on over here! It's definitely worth a read.
On a brighter, and also worthy of mentioning that we've seen quite a few transgendered folks pop up defending the episode. The majority of the offended folks appear to not be transgendered at all... The internet really is a strange place isn't it?

Well, this was a nice surprise. Enterplay is creating a series 2 of the popular MLP Dogtags and were more than happy to show them off at their booth. You may remember these from earlier in the week. It looks like Apple Bloom and Power Ponies are the main new things here. Expect them to hit stores on November 20th.In other news, they also had the pins from the NYCC Guide post:
At any rate I'm looking forward to seeing else Enterplay will be coming out with in the future. -
I don't see how these tips are pointless. How you put a pony in a box is very important information to have in order to amplify the cuteness factor.

Bad news for those of you who have been sharing Friendship Games clips around on youtube. Sony has been really cracking down on them. Since Sony owns the copyright to the soundtrack, they've been exercising those rights and removing anything using it.
Sony's music division Sony Music Entertainment does tend to be pretty strict about protecting their IP so I guess it was only a matter of time before they started stripping it out.
Even analysis videos are being targeted.

Hey everyone! The Illustriois Q here from the ever crowded (I'm not kidding about that) New York Comic Con!
Anyways, aside from the Chibi EQG Toys that Hasbro Announced today, Little Brown, the company that holds the license for the MLP Chapter Books, made an announcement today in a very small way.
Namely the above poster announcing the sequel to Under the Sparkling Sea.
Titled My Little Pony: The Dragons of Dazzle Island, you can expect this book to show up sometime in 2016!

We now have confirmation on what exactly that teaser was from a few days ago. Equestria Girls have officially been Chibified! Currently, there isn't any extra information available on what exactly they will do with these outside of the toys above, but I have a feeling something will happen.
Expect a followup as we get more information on them.

Opinion part:
For some reason, I feel like this is what the actual merchandise should have looked like from the beginning. It's no secret here that I haven't always been a fan of the dolls. These things are actually what I'd consider "cute!". Even without glorious hooves.
