There's something really nice about the painting effect done in this pic! I especially like whorls in Derpy's hooves here.
News time my friends! Get it all after the break!

The Good Men Project is a website that aims to look at masculinity in a different light than what we are used to. One of the articles showing up in our inbox questions male characters and their role and representation in MLP. While I don't think the article is perfect and makes a few logical missteps, I'd say it's written well enough to warrant a post.
There is a conversation to be had regarding male characters and their representation in MLP, I just don't think this article does it justice. It's a start, however. Check the article out after the break and let me know what you think. If you all want to see my take on this issue, let me know in the comments or tweet at me.

"Marks in Time" is the newest set of the My Little Pony Collectible Card Game and it's coming soon, so it's time to start up our regularly scheduled preview articles of what to look for when the set debuts in May.
The name Marks in Time comes from the two major themes of the set: cute little foals with or without their Cutie Marks, and various time travel and important figures from Equestrian history. Today we'll be taking a closer look at Cutie Marks in particular, and the fun new gameplay mechanic specifically called Cutie Marking.
These articles always include at least a couple new card reveals that have never seen the light of day, so be sure to peek below the break even if you already know all about Cutie Marking!

Those details. I can only imagine how much time it took to draw all those leaves. Absolutely incredible.
Below the break, get tons of art!

In some ways, the 8bit dialogue sounds in Undetale kinda have a charm of their own, but I'm not complaining that someone decided to voice the entire thing in Pinkie Pie's voice. Head on down below the break for that awesome Megalovania Pinkamena battle we posted earlier in the week, with Pinkie Pie voice acting.

The Fallout Equestria community has chosen another fanfic to spotlight here on EQD as per out quarterly postings of these.
[Adventure][Dark][Crossover]
Author: Doctor Ham
Description: What happens if you’re just another salespony in postapocalyptia, a blacksmith by and large focused on running your store day by day? Other ponies can fight and die in the "good fight," but for you, trade caravans come and go, random repair work around town keeps food on the table, and every so often you make enough at once to treat yourself. And in the stillness and privacy of the night, the ghost of a smile graces your muzzle as you work at your forge, making your mark on the Wasteland in small ways.
Fallout Equestria: Wasteland Economics (New Part 16!)
But... you've gotten a bit complacent with this safe life in the Bayou. And all at once, that security drops out from under you. The debt of a pony's life rests on your hooves, and all you've got are the skills that let you earn a living fixing a pistol to pay it off.

If you happen to live in the Los Angeles area and you aren't going to be at BABScon on April 23rd, then you might want to consider heading to Big Red Comics to meet some of the talent on the IDW Comic Series!
For four solid hours, you can hang out with your fellow MLP Fans, get signings from the various talent, and it looks like a whole bunch of other cool activities to be had.
It isn't often that comic talent gathers at the comic stores in these large numbers, let alone have an entire party dedicated to one specific comic. If you have nothing to do that afternoon, or you have kids who are looking for something to do, consider heading over to Big Red Comics!

Is everyone ready for more Princess Flurry Heart?
Even if you aren't, you're getting it anyways! Today's the day Good Night Baby Flurry Heart by Mike Vogel and Amy Mebberson is available wherever books are sold!
If you ordered it from Amazon, it's probably waiting for you on your doorstep. If not, you can always pick it up from your local book store.
Now I wonder if Hasbro will get Samuel L. Jackson to read a future auido book version…
And check out our interview of Mike Vogel on the book here!

It looks like the CMC drew in a pretty good extra crowd, or the fandom that was hibernating woke up. "On Our Marks" pulled in 300,000 viewers according to Showbuzzdaily, 86,000 more than the Gift of Maud Pie.
Considering how exclusive Discovery Family is, this typically isn't something to worry about in general, but It's good to see it up over last week.
Thanks to Andrew for sending it!
