Some pretty interesting orchestral tunes here! First up Sprocket is back with another lovely piece from his new Princess Variations album. This one has some lovely vocals in it to add to the epic atmosphere given by the powerful orchestration, and some spoken word at the end from poet W. H. Auden that fits excellently. The second track is a combination of MLP and good old Batman, as Elias frost has created a piece inspired by both, with subtle references to music related to both. Check them both out below!

Lunar Drift has been getting pretty great at fusing orchestral and electronic elements in a way that creates a lovely mixture of feelings, and here they've created a pretty strong duality between them with an 8 minute track divided into two parts. The piano composition through the track is beautiful, and works well with the mild electronic elements. Check it out below!

How young do you have to be to not give into the age-old cars for boys, ponies for girls? The BBC Set out to answer it, by asking a bunch of kids which of the two toys they would prefer. Turns out, the car was pretty damn successful. I'll let you watch it yourself though.Check the report out on Twitter over here.

If you're attending Hascon on September 8th – 11th, there's a couple more MLP Guests of Honor for you to meet! That's right folks, Brenda Hickey and Mary Jane Begin (with the latter confirmation coming straight from MJ herself) will be at Hascon ready to meet you all!
Brenda Hickey has been a staple of the My Little Pony Comics from IDW since her premiere issue on the Applejack My Little Pony: Micro Series issue, and her most recent work has been illustrating the first six issues of My Little Pony: Legends of Magic! Also, if you read King Sombra's My Little Pony: FIENDship is Magic issue, and felt sympathy for the former evil king of the crystal empire, you can thank her for illustrating the tale!
Professor Mary Jane Begin has written and illustrated both My Little Pony: Under the Sparkling Sea and My Little Pony: Dragons on Dazzle Island. In addition to that, she is the Author of the critically acclaimed art book My Little Pony: The Art of Equestria.
Both Brenda and MJ will be present all three days of Hascon! So if you're attending, be sure to say hello!

Jyc Row has taken the song from Perfect Pear and given it a beautiful orchestral coating, with some epic drums and powerful strings lending more impetus to the vocals. With a cover of the more recent song, Flawless, metal musician Osoch has added some awesome guitar and drums, with a solo towards the end of the track being quite a highlight. Artist Training Grounds VII - Day 19
by Calpain
Ah, nothing like deadlines, right my friends? We've all been in that situation where we are racing the clock to get something done. Hopefully with these daily prompts the ATG has helped you all increase your drawing speed while maintaining your quality over the past half month.
Tonight we managed 103 ponies, bringing us up to 2918 ponies in total. Keep it up everyone!
As we approach day 20 of our month long event I want to give you guys another prompt I think you guys will really like based on the turnout for a similar prompt we had earlier. Days ago I had mentioned that one of the things the community loved to do was share things about themselves whether it be how their day was, what their favorite things were, or just whatever was on their minds. Well tonight's prompt gives you another chance to share a little about yourself or share a little bit about your OCs if you have one as I would like you to Draw a pony showing off their special talent / Draw a pony doing something you wish you could do someday.
As usual you can find our submitter here! Good luck everyone, I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Remember, our compiler is up a few hours even after this post goes up so feel free to submit Remember, our compiler is up a few hours even after this post goes up so feel free to submit your submission even though this post is up!
