An interesting piece from an interesting musician, Blue Brony is back with a downtempo piece about Spike's sorrows that swaps between being pretty jazzy, and having more of a chilled out hip hop style to it. The jazz sections especially manage to convey Spike's downtrodden feelings Spike has as he sits alone in the donut store. Give it a listen below for some chill vibes!

It’s time to whip out those vocal exercises because returning this April, is Season 4 of The Voice: Equestria! We challenge you to show us what you’ve got in that mouth of yours, in the ultimate contest of audible creativity. But we don’t want to hear your best impressions of Twilight or Pinkie, we want your own characters out of your own head. That’s right, we want your original characters. Make it past our pre-judges, to the final round, and Tara Strong, Tabitha St. Germain, and Ashleigh Ball get to hear and judge you, on stage, in lights, in front of a live audience at BABSCon 2017.
So, do you have what it takes to impress Tara and our other Guests of Honor?

Nightly Discussion #1004
by Calpain
A nap sounds really good right now as I am exhausted. Too bad I lack the snuggle buddy though that Twilight has.
Evening guys, ready to chat?

Each pony day, we typically have a set number of entries required before making a post compiling them unless one particular piece is insanely good. Unfortunately this means if we are light on say, wallpapers or analysis, we tend to miss them. Usually they go to the Nightly Roundups, but since so many people sent in late art this time, I figured it would be a good idea to just create a day-after bonus post and put everything in it.
I want to note though, pony specific holidays takes a lot of work to go through and schedule everything. We also spend hours scouting out things to post that aren't submitted. It's not really a good idea at all to be "late", as you probably won't make it into posts unless a specific one was bumped back and we have time to edit late things in.
This is especially true for art. We got ~16 entries after the deadline, and even a few today. In the future, be sure to get your Derpy stuff in before the day, as we probably won't be doing followups much!
Anyway, go get it all down below for things created specifically for Derpy day!

A new duo of SFM model updates have been released for Rarity and Twilight, bringing on a coronation outfit for Twilight and a Hepburn look for Rarity. You can use these in either SFM or Gmod, either for animations or just for fun.

A new full synopsis for the upcoming March 7th' "Trixie's Razzle Dazzle Ruse" has arrived. It's a full paragraph of GREATEST AND MOST POWERFUL goodness, so you should definitely get hype for this book, as I am. It reveals a lot, so avoid if you want to go in completely blind.
Head on down below the break to read it!

A rather violent suggestion, I admit. But we're about to talk about a pony of action!
Let's have a look at Rainbow Dash's chapter in Guardians of Harmony.

Well, it's not every day you get something on an epic scale such as this! Coming in at 18 minutes long, this seven-part musical journey has a number of different stages that flow on from each other. Initially a pretty solemn and preparatory orchestral vibe gives way to a more fun-loving bounce-y vibe that acts as a precursor to some heavy and epic sections as war sets in. There's an interesting combination of orchestral and rock/metal influences throughout. Ultimately, the journey ends with reflection on the cost of war, and by this point it has well and truly been an experience. Mane In Green is a relatively new producer, and whilst this experience he's crafted isn't perfect, it's most definitely well worth experiencing!
