I'm pretty disappointed guys, and so is Twilight Sparkle. I hope you are all happy. The poor girl has been crying her eyes out for a few hours now.
Also Lyra asked me to keep her and bonbon off the list. Apparently they are tired of everyone butting in on their personal lives. In fact, Bonbon broke up with Lyra around the middle of season 1 thanks to you. It's rumored that they still see each other in secret, but they sure as hell don't live together anymore. -

Looks like those deals and negotiations are finally complete with Cartoon Network. The show will start appearing on non-US versions of the channel by the end of July.
I can only imagine how quickly this will spread it! Hope they have some cool commercials lined up.

Someone sent me an email forwarded from the United Kingdom Hasbro department. It looks like FiM's toys will be spreading over there pretty soon. Hopefully September is also the time season 2 starts up! I can't go much longer without new pony!
Here is the email minus all the nonsense:

Remember that pony mmo with the really cool looking header? Well the composer for it has released a few of the tracks from the game on his soundcloud page.
He is also considering doing a composition for one of the fanfics on the site, so feel free to bombard the comments with stories that deserve it.

A thread over on Ponychan keeps getting emailed to me about this, so why not?
I know not everyone out there has sucked it up and bought a pony, but a good amount of us have. It's kind of hard not too...
What was your experience like? Did the cashier question you?
I admit, for my first pony toy buying experience I used the typical "buying it as a gift" excuse when asked who I was getting them for. It wasn't until the Mcdonalds toys rolled around that I started getting ballsy enough to straight up say how awesome the ponies were.

The creator of this little beauty wants you all to know that this upcoming game will feature a total of 17 playable characters, with the mane six playable at initial launch. More information will be forthcoming at a later date!
I kinda feel like Bioware now. THIS GAME WILL BE DONE SOON™.

I went through a pretty big anime phase a while back. I still check it out every once in a while.
This first one definitely looks like it would work for a Japanese release of the show, and kind of makes me want a side FiM series with a continuous adventure plot or something. One can dream I suppose.
No clue what the second one is, but maybe some of you do!

That was fast! Looks like 10 million will happen before season two after all!
I'm glad the pony craze didn't die down with season one over. I am not getting any of that planned coding eduction done, but at least we are all entertained while we wait right?
Lurid from the Ponycraft.net server sent me the comic to the left. I had plans to visit and report on each of the pony minecraft servers, but you guys keep me pretty busy! Hopefully I can find time for that soon. I still really want to try that whole journalism thing out.

As for future events... Lets see...
The Friend-off got delayed, again, if you haven't already noticed. Phoe is doing the drawing event, Cereal is busy IRL, and I am completely flooded with site management stuff as is, so It will have to wait until things open up a bit! This next one will be a reverse friend-off. Drawfriends Write, and Writefriends draw. Should be interesting.
Anyway I'm off to bed. Enjoy the completely obvious over 9million theme. As if you didn't see THAT one coming. I really missed making banners. It's one of the more fun things to do with the site. -
You know, it's getting harder and harder to find good, sketch-style images that are relevant to the day's gallery theme. I may need to start raiding your earlier submissions if I want to maintain this visual style. And I do! It's how you know it's me posting these and not Emergency-Sethisto. Today's been an interesting day. We've been having some major storms brewing overhead of Phoeville, and I found myself - without thinking about it or attempting to make a joke - looking up at the sky and asking if the pegasus ponies could reschedule. Damn it, I want Equestrian weather.
Speaking of the little flying ponies, you guys sent in quite a lot of them! I'm counting 230 entrants in this year's Best Young Flier competition. Power outages last night prevented me from telling you my "two dollar banana" story like I promised. Find that and ponies, after the break! Remember to follow the submission guidelines when sending in tomorrow's pictures. I've gotten a couple of requests to point ponies in this direction again, and since I'm such a generous ruler, have some pony drawing guides!
The Theme of the Day
Draw a pony as a filly (or a colt). Ok class, it's time to work on your proportions! Don't forget, little foals have different body structures from fully grown (but still little) ponies. Now, I can think of at least two different ways to pun your way out of this assignment, but I'm sure there are more. Good luck finding them!
