Heeeeeeeyyyyy, late night readers! I have discovered memes and also continue to subsist on a diet of juice and painkillers. But "The Man" can't keep me down forever, so I'm hopping back to you to deliver the latest wave (and I am assured it is a literal wave, like some sort of musical tsunami) of tunes and keep you happy until another day of ponies is upon us.

Unless you live in Europe or anywhere else opposite an ocean from the United States, in which case I am here to provide you another opportunity to make comments about how it's already morning or afternoon or whatever it might happen to be. In which case, hello future peoples! What's it like? Are there robots yet? In any event, enjoy the latest dance crazes. Lyra certainly seems to be.

National Pony Writing Month Update!

Noble Cause is back once again with an update on the National Pony Writing Month site.   It was a Nightmare Night update technically, but we missed it in the box! Derp. 

Anyway, information below the break for all you crazy writers out there.

Guild Wars Pony Questline

While we didn't see a whole lot of Guild Wars 2 ponyness, it looks like the team still working on Guild Wars 1 (which you guys should check out if you never have, its actually a really fun co-op game) tossed out a huge quest chain with all sorts of pony references. 

Come of the fun ones include:

*gasp* That's it Gum Drops... *pant* You're going to... *wheeze* LOVE ME!"
 "It detects the level of "peripheral pony particles," or PON-3, in the air and gives us an approximation of the location of the eminent equine."

You can find the entire quest chain over on the Guild Wars Wiki, or in game by following the guide also listed there.

Support Amy Keating Rogers' Documentary on Kickstarter

The name Amy Keating Rogers is synonymous with television writing, with Pinkie Pie, and with fun. Maybe you've heard of her? She's the author for episodes like The Last Roundup, A Friend in Deed, MMMystery on the Friendship Express, and a heap of fan favorites from Season 1. She's awesome and infectiously funny. And about as far back as I can remember in this community, she's also been hard at work on a documentary called Jason Bateman thinks I'm Dead, a journey through the entertainment industry to catch up with an old school classmate and remind him that she is, in fact, alive.

The documentary is finished, but licensing for certain elements and the production values make the creation of a full line prohibitively expensive for a single person. That's where you come in! Go to her Kickstarter and chip in a couple of dollars. This is a really difficult project for just one person to see through, but it will be beyond worth it in the end. Amy's a wonderful person who has given a lot to this fandom and works hard to make herself accessible for conventions and everything in between. This is an excellent opportunity to say 'thank you' for all of the songs she's ever gotten stuck in your head.

This is Nightmare Night!

MLP Online Single Player Episode 1 Releases!

After months of teaser images, concept art, and pixel ponies, MLP Online has released it's first single player episode. Have a bit of information straight from them:

Today, we on the MLP:Online Team are proud to announce the first release of our single-player campaign: Episode 1: First Contact. Play as Twilight Sparkle and AppleJack as their curiosity and Twilight's love for Science begins an adventure that will take them across the whole of Equestria:

A meteor lands near Ponyville, and Twilight leaps at the chance to be the first to study it. Despite the opposition from her friends, the urge to study it gets the better of her, and she is joined by AppleJack as she embarks on her quest to find the meteorite (and to tell Celestia all about it). But even the edges of the Everfree Forest are not safe, and they soon find themselves in more trouble than they can handle!

First Contact has been long in the making, and we have worked hard to complete it. It certainly has been a long and rough trip since the debut of our initial beta back during BronyCon Summer 2012. Thanks go out to each of our current and former team members, the Brony community, and all of our friends and affiliates who made it possible. We sincerely hope you enjoy the first episode of the game, as we have had a blast making it!

It's pretty awesome to see all these gaming projects finally completing!  Their website is under a bit of stress right now, so you may need to check back in a bit.  For a link directly to the download page, hit this one up.

Pony Party at Hoyts Cinema

It looks like a theater chain called Hoyts located in Australia, New Zealand, and Wales has a pony party planned, complete with 64 minutes of pony.  What exactly is this 64 minutes of pony? It's a complete mystery! Their current explanation really doesn't explain a whole lot:

Every pony knows that there ain’t no party like a pony party! The problem with parties is that sometimes they can be a lot of hard work: you have to worry if all your friends will turn-up, you have to plan your outfit weeks in advance, and then there’s always the possibility that the party won’t live up to your expectations.

There’s only one way to deal with the any potential party problems: make sure you are surrounded by your very best friends! Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinky Pie, Applejack and Rarity know that as long as you have your friends with you, every day is a celebration because friendship is magic!

The release date is apparently the 10th of November, which correlates with Season 3.  Outside of the 66 minute project in progress from Topdraw, we haven't heard of anything releasing so early.  There is a good chance that it is simply a few episodes strung together.
