Music I believe is a form of structured chaos, a marriage of order and mayhem. While anyone can make an instrument make noise it takes effort, patience and practice to make something that can tug at the soul. Music is emotion given voice and that is why there are as many forms of music as there are people in this world. Maybe that is why we see so many pieces of musical ponies in emotional settings, eh?

After all these years I'm surprised it took so long for White Dove to make a Zecora plushie! As usual she does an amazing job and I'm happy to see everyone's favorite zebra added to her collection of pony plushies!

While My Little Dashie has been out for quite awhile now it still gets brought up in the fandom to this day as one of the more memorable or more popular stories out there. I haven't read the story myself, but I was finally able to dive into it thanks to this visual novel project released by DawnMistPony and her friends.
It's very well put together, comprised of very lovely pictures combined with an enjoyable musical score. If you haven't read the story yet this might be your time to give it a try! And if you're a long time fan of the story, check it out anyway!

Have we ever posted a hard trance song before? I can't remember the last time if we have. With all the variants on Dubstep flooding the music waves, it has become somewhat of a rarity.
Get that, and something a bit more usual for the times afterward in the form super relaxing chillstep from Exiark. It's a step! A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. What?

We've already seen some semi-major confirmation that the Apple Bloom, Big Mac, and Applejack's parents are deceased from the show staff, but outside of two twinkling stars and Applejack staring up at them, not much has been said about their lack of parental figures in the actual show. With how many episodes we see about apple family shenanigans, it's surprising that we haven't seen at least a few more hints.
So, good Equestria Daily readers and fandom filled with people that love to over-analyze things, should this be a topic of a future episode? Would you like to delve into Apple past and see what exactly happened to them? Or do you think this should remain a mystery for the rest of the show's airtime?
Hell, for all we know they could have had a mid-life crisis and bolted to explore the world, only to return years later to an angry Applejack and a whole episode filled with glorious familial drama. (Or maybe that was all a rotten apple induced psychosis and they really were dead all along! A TWIST!)

For the absolutely insane amount of people actively grinding away on the Gameloft pony game, an update is on the way with new ponies, Tirek, quests, and shops. As for an exact date, I'm sure we will find out soon.
And in other news, a pony named Betty Bouyffant is currently available for Chinese New Year from the Equestria Girls dance game. Go play it if you want her.

Fan art has always been a huge part of the ponynet, and Deviant Art has definitely noticed an uptick on hooves over the past four years. They have spotlight them in various Daily Deviations, but their "fan art Friday" series seems like the perfect place to really celebrate the cartoon equines.
