BING BONG. We had a lot of silly unicorns, but this one was the first to really set it off. What do we get to name them? I'm not even sure if it's a girl or a boy. I guess pony names are pretty androgenous though.
Yesterday's horse ended up with "Wintermint" as the top rated name with 17 votes, beating pretty much every other form of mint. I wonder how Lyra didn't end up with a mint name early on? I guess the lack of visible butts this time around is making it harder to name them around their symbols. Feel free to go vote for others as these names will be tallied up at the end, so consider them still open for changing over at the Name This Pony tag.
Now go pop your names for this one below!

For all of you out there that have an interest in ASMR, the first G5 video has been released to entertain your ears. This one is dedicated entirely to Pipp Petals, which is kinda fitting since this sort of thing is something a lot of social media people do now.
Go have a pony talking in your ear below.

Hibiscus Stitch over on Twitter has spotted these cheaper alternatives to the G5 pony figure line at Family Dollar. They lose the articulation and gradient manes for a cheaper price tag than their big-box store counterparts. Each one is only 3 bucks, so you can get yourself a set pretty easily if you are on a smaller horse-figure budget!

We have some unfortunate and very sudden news this afternoon. According to a host of regular news sites, Hasbro's CEO Brian Goldner passed away today. Two days ago he apparently took a break for medical leave, which was apparently serious. The information released by Hasbro doesn't indicate any specifics. He was with the company for over two decades, and has been CEO for the entirety of Friendship is Magic's airing, as well as producer for the G4 movie, and executive producer for My Little Pony: A New Generation. It really makes you realize how fragile life is.
Richard Stoddart will take over as Interim CEO, and released this quote:
Since joining the Company more than two decades ago, Brian has been the heart and soul of Hasbro. As a charismatic and passionate leader in both the play and entertainment industries, Brian’s work brought joy and laughter to children and families around the world. His visionary leadership, kindness, and generosity made him beloved by the Hasbro community and everyone he touched. On behalf of the Hasbro family, we extend our deepest, heartfelt condolences to his wife, daughter, and entire family
Business Wire received a press release from Hasbro if you are curious about the announcement. I've popped that below.

Storyboards Vs. Actual Movie - Two Behind the Scenes Videos Showing Off How It all Began!
by SethistoAn artist from the My Little Pony: A New Generation team named Chris Paluszek has popped up two videos on Youtube showing off his boards directly aligned with the actual scenes from the movie. Once again, it's fascinating to watch these in conjunction with one another, giving us an idea on how simple it all begins to get us to the final fully animated scene that we all get to see in the end.
Head on down below to watch!
