That world without a mane 6 Twilight Sparkle visited during the timeline splitting Starlight Glimmer episode had a completely reformed Luna anyway, meaning somehow even without the help of Twi and her friends, she was still reformed. Sounds like something to analyze! Sawtooth Waves has taken the plunge and done just that in a new 8 minute video.

Those bean mouths are going to absolutely bombard us in April. According to Kid Screen, we will be getting a whopping 70 episodes in all, though each only clocks in at 5 minutes each. Consider it more akin to those shorts they posted over the years of G5, from Good Morning Pinkie Pie to the claymation videos. It's the very early Pony Life of G5.
We've also found out that it was produced by a company called Lil Critter Workshop in Malaysia, with someone named Gretchen Mallorie working as the head writer and story editor, and David Flack as creative producer. The toy lines tie directly into this series.
Here's hoping it's a good bridge over to the fully fledged 3D series with the style we've come to love in September!
Thanks to Wamago for the heads up!

More slightly minor news has arrived for the new G5 "Tell your Tale" youtube series. We've got a banner uploaded to one of the writers websites, along with their own description of it:
"Debuting hot on the hooves of the immensely successful My Little Pony: A New Generation film on Netflix (which debuted as the #1 Kids Title in 86 countries) My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale will launch April 7 with a new five-minute episode released each week.
The series introduces My Little Pony‘s beloved next-generation characters in a sprightly 2D animation style and features upbeat, comedic stories that kids of all ages can enjoy. The slice-of-life series will showcase new sides of the Mane 5 and expand their universe in exciting new directions. My Little Pony aims to inspire everyone to explore, express and celebrate what makes them unique. Just as Everypony has its special sparkle and “cutie mark,” every child has the opportunity to make their mark and celebrate their true colors."
Thanks to Pipp_Petal for the heads up.

We announced a few days ago that My Little Pony: A New Generation is IDW's future focus for the comics, and that included two art pieces. We can now confirm that those were indeed the covers, as we have them in their full forms now as seen above and below!
Consider that your minor news for the day after the flood of crazyness yesterday.
Thanks to Pipp_Petal for the heads up.

It seems like pins are a hit over on Kickstarter lately, cause we have another new project going on now to get the ones up above made. The current goal on this one is $4,400, and the initial wave will be the mane 6 as is tradition. Stretch goes lead all the way up to 10,000, with Scootaloo, Cadance, Luna, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Luna, and Sunset Shimmer as unlocks. They also have sticker unlocks at various pledge tiers if you want some of those instead.
Find it all over here! As always with Kickstarter projects, do your own due-diligence before investing. We can't guarantee that everything will go smoothly, and they have failed in the past.
