Over in New York city, the Paley Center is running an event called "PALEYWKND", where they are inviting a bunch of people from sports, media, and gaming from the 30th of this month to October 2nd to show off what they have worked on or are currently working on, convention style.
The pony bit of news here is their announcement over on Twitter that on October 2nd, they will be hosting a meet and greet with Sunny and Izzy and screening My Little Pony: Make Your Mark as part of it. Tickets for the event can be found over on their website if you want something to do for the weekend.

It's time for a new season! If you have Netflix, it's all available right now, but I'm going to do daily posts for the next 8 day for dedicated discussion posts on each one. Go watch and absorb, then bring what you found here! It looks like they are hiding a LOT in each episode that reference G4 and other things.
Izzy Does It started us off, and is actually available on Youtube in full so I'll go ahead and embed it down below. What do you think of Chapter 2 so far? I'm liking the new lighting more than anything. They really did a good job of that!

We've got a bit of minor news that a lot of people were actually asking about. If you saw the trailer or watched episode one, Make Your Mark's Twilight Sparkle has been confirmed to be voiced by Tara Strong by Gillian Berrow over on Twitter, despite not appearing in the credits.
So there's your trivia fact for the day! Back to poni.

As a teaser, the Netflix After School channel has posted up the entire first episode of Make Your Mark: Chapter 2 for those struggling to find a place to watch it. If it was the Hasbro channel, I'd think this was going to be a weekly thing, but I doubt we will get more than this out of Netflix themselves.
Anyway, go check it out below.

When I first set that countdown ages ago it felt like the release was so far away. Today officially marks the release of Make Your Mark! Or at least an hour after this post goes up.
If you missed out initial announcement earlier, we will be doing daily episode posts at 10 AM PST for all 8 episodes if you'd like a place to discuss each one specifically. We won't get that slow burn like we got with G4, but at least we can try to absorb them and really dig in to everything.
There are people on the Discord server planning all day parties if you are interested in that. It's always more fun to discuss episodes live, so synch them up and have some fun with it if you are one of the people around this late in the US or in another country where it's actually releasing in the middle of the day.
Anyway, go enjoy make your mark! Hopefully it satisfies that pony itch.
