Hasbro has scooped up Sabands brands, including the ever-growing Power Rangers. They have previously held the license to produce toys of everyones favorite mighty morphin nostalgia bombs, but with this they will have full control of it going forward. Considering the huge amount of media the company has started pumping out with Hasbro Studios, it seems like a pretty good plan in the end.
Altogether, the buyout will cost Hasbro 522 million, with 270 of that being Hasbro common stock.
They still need to obtain regulatory approvals and work out the specific legal details, but as far as anyone is concerned, this is a done deal

After a while since their last release, Mane In Green is back with a piece inspired by Fluttergoth - I'm really enjoying the inspiration some people are taking from her character lately!A baroque-style orchestral piece featuring complex composition and some lovely choir sounds is suitably gothic for Fluttershy here. The Leo Award nominations have once again been released. My Little Pony has had a few showings over the years with various voice actresses, episodes, and songs up for wins. This year we have the following categories:
- Shadow Play - Part 2 - Overall Best Sound
- Vincent Tong's Feather Bangs performance - Best VA Performance
They definitely do a lot of digging to find things don't they?

The My Little Pony Game from Gameloft has released another update, introducing a group questing feature where you can send multiple ponies out to complete things. It also includes the usual new ponies, decorations, and houses.

With a lack of clarity currently surrounding the development of Friendship is Epic, Jyc Row has decided to release some of the music he had composed for the game. Here we have this superb theme for Sombra that aims to put the player in the mindset of an intense final fight, which is does through the use of epic strings and percussion, with some lovely composition too.
