Mantlegen's dubstep works are always a pleasure to listen to, and here he has a hybrid of sorts. This track transitions between more melodic segments and some heavier sound design, whilst also having some speedier segments that feel a bit more hardcore. Compositionally terrific also, make sure to check it out below the break!

Remember back when Twilight first got wings? It was so cute seeing her trying to adjust to the little feather dusters on her sides. Feels so long ago now.

A new developer journal for the upcoming pony platforming game "Starved for Light" has been released, going over some difficulties that they ran into in the last month, but fixes they've implemented by recruiting new members to replace those that were lost. This includes new programmers, voices, artists, and a Korean translator. They also have an OC contest going on over at their Facebook page.
Hopefully we get to see this game in action soon! Video below.

If you are curious about how that incredible Twilight Sparkle from a few days ago was created, the artist, Shuxer59, has released a video timelapse of another one of his projects. The Punk Rarity above can be seen going from simple wires all the way to the awesome fully painted figure you see above.
Head on down below the break to check it out!

A bunch of designs have been added to Teepublic for December. Probably due to so many artists signing up after others had so many great designs last month. The sale includes shirts, posters, laptop bags, cases, and a bunch of other things. As always though, the big draw is those $14 horse shirts.

80s pop isn't exactly a genre, but it's definitely the best way to describe this! Very much in the style of popular acts from that time period, Crusader!'s work fits excellently as a character piece for 80s Cheerilee. Cheesy synth sounds and excellent vocals help to make this a super fun track. Check it out below!

A fresh holiday special has hit the shelves. Are our ponies in a winter wonderland or shall we all cry "bah, humbug!"

We aren't the only ones that played these songs on repeat endlessly. The My Little Pony Movie soundtrack has also been a big deal for parents and kids. A writer over at Gizmodo's io9 decided to do a quick piece on the importance of soundtracks, with our cartoon horses as the focus.
Check it out over here if you are curious.
Thanks to Duke for sending it.

NeverLastStanding has mostly become known for his electronic works, but he's evidently been working quite a lot on his orchestral game as well. Based on the fanfiction work of the same name, and there is a deep level of story through the track, broken down into three acts with different pace and mood between them. The composition of the instruments is excellent, so do make sure to check it out below!

It's ok Sparkles the Wonder Horse, I don't think I'd have any idea what to do if I was flying a helicopter either. Probably a lot of crashing and a lot of fire.
Morning guys! Time to chat.
