Ratings For "What About Discord?" Are In
by Calpain
Pony continues to impress as this past weekend's Discord episode pushes season 5 ever higher over these past few weeks. Debuting at 444,000 viewers, this past weekend's episode beat out "Scare Master's" 395,000 viewers.
Will pony continue to climb as we head towards the finale? I guess we'll see with only a few weeks left in the season.
Thanks to Andrew for sending it in!

Please buckle your seat belts, make sure your trays are stowed and locked, all carry-on luggage is stored in the overhead compartments, and all seats are in the up right position for the latest piece of MLP comic news is coming straight from Japan!
On Sunday, November 15th, at the Tokyo International Comic Festival IDW MLP Comic Artist will team up with Putchigumi MLP Manga Artist Akira Himekawa from 12:45–13:45 (in the Tsukurnomori booth) to collaboratively create a one of a kind My Little Pony piece of art!
Both Agnes Garbowska, and Akira Himekawa are looking forward to the the collaboration event.
It's Western Comics meeting Eastern Manga and the result is going to be unbelievably cute! And it's bound to be one event no MLP Pony fan will want to miss! So if you happen to be in the world's largest city this Sunday—or can afford to purchase a plane ticket and fly clear across the Pacific—consider stopping by the Tokyo International Comic Festival (located at Tokyo Big Sight 3-11-1 Ariake, Koutou-ku, Tokyo) and checking out this once in a lifetime event!

I want a series with these four so bad. Why can't we just expand pony to everything? Why can't we have multiple shows?!
Madness I say.

A long while back, the Brony Thank You Fund established a scholarship at CalArts in character animation. Now, after all the support from the pony community, the first ever Derpy Hooves Scholarship has been given to a third year student named Thirla Alagala.
To celebrate she even made her own version of Derpy that you can see above! Congratulations to Thirla and we wish her the best of luck.
"As folks may recall, the Brony Thank You Fund endowed a permanent scholarship at the California Institute of the Arts a year ago, the Derpy Hooves Scholarship in Character Animation. We have just been informed by CalArts that the first recipient is Thirla Alagala, a third-year student. She took the time to give a shout out in her Tumbler, complete with her own version of Derpy: http://talagala.tumblr.
com/post/132491286219/i-dont- know-what-i-did-to-deserve-it- but-i-got. She says that she’d love to hear from the brony community, and we look forward to seeing her in the credits of some great animation once she graduates!" Twitter: Calpain -

The fan game projects just keep on coming! A new one is in the works called Ambient. Prologue. A gameplay demo showing off the first 21 minutes is available, complete with what appears to be a fun looking combat system. I think the only issues I have it are with the lip synching, but it's still alpha so we will see where that goes!
Head on down below to check it out.

If you are like me, you have been slacking off and watching Trixie dancing all day instead of playing Fallout. Yeah, that's probably a specific case. Luckily Littlepip is here to motivate us to get back to work. The Wasteland can't save itself. Or the baby. Whatever we are saving.

Hearts and Hooves Day Arrives Early, Courtesy of IDW Publishing! An Equestria Daily Exclusive Reveal!
by The Illustrious Q
Why giving them a Valentine with a comic inside of it of course! Which is exactly what IDW is doing this February with Valentine's Day Cover Month! There will be eleven cover in total for the month, including one cover by Lea Hernandez for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #39!
The rest of the line up, for those of you might be interested in collecting the entire theme of the month from IDW, are as follows:
- Ghostbusters
- Wynonna Earp
- Jem & the Holograms
- G.I. Joe
- The X-Files
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- My Little Pony
- Luna the Vampire
- Back to the Future
- Judge Dredd
- Star Trek
Giving comics as Valentines sounds like a fun idea to me. And having all these titles would also make for one heck of a Valentine's Day box of Valentines. So, what do you guys think? Be sure to discuss in the comment section below!
And be sure to keep an eye out for IDW's February 2016 Solicitations coming out next week!

One of the best animators in the fandom, if not THE best has gone through a year of madness working with Hasbro's legal side to get his videos re-approved for posting. If you haven't been following it, all of the pony stuff on Jan Animations channel was taken down by Hasbro back in March of 2014. This includes classics like Picture Perfect Pony, and the killing of a potentially awesome Button Mash series.
Unfortunately the outlook doesn't look good. After conference calls, back-and-forths between multiple people, and general shenanigans, we still won't be seeing the return of the official Button Mash or anything else pony related from Jan. Maybe something will happen? If his annoyances expressed in the video are any indication, it will be a long shot.

Just in case you all missed the update in that season 6 episode title list yesterday, it was deconfirmed by Brian Lenard over on Twitter. He's right though, some of those episode titles really are crazy. I was looking forward to an Element of Courage! Trixie would have been perfect.
Will we see another mass drop of episode titles this time around? I suppose we will find out soon. Until then, we don't have any other lists that look even slightly real coming in.

Marble is just one adorable pony! It's wonderful that we've gotten such a lovely look at the Pie family this season. I wonder which family we'll see in detail next?
Time to get to chattering my friends!
