Lots of ponies on the mountainside tonight, a wonderful symbol of the journey you all have made over these past 30 days, don't you think?
Hello again my friends, welcome to the final two days of the ATG! You guys managed a wonderful 98 ponies tonight bringing us up to 5442 ponies altogether! I think at this current pace we will break 5500 thanks to all your efforts! Well done everyone!
Now I know some of you have been asking for a makeup day and today I deliver! Tonight's assignment is to makeup as many pictures you've missed as possible with a special optional task you can undertake if you dare: draw every prompt or as many as you can in one submission. A little crazy with around 30 prompts to consider, but let's see how creative you guys can get! As usual you can find the submitter here.

Nightly Discussion #835
by Calpain
While I can say for certain I like the pony versions of our main characters I'm not exactly sure with Sunset since we've seen her more as a human than a pony. Honestly I think I like both equally well!
Evening everyone, ready to chat?

A few years ago, Twilight Sparkle was pretty readily available over at Build a Bear, but like most of their toys she was eventually rotated out. Some people have resorted to grabbing her at a ramped up price to complete their collections from joining late.
She is now once again available both in stores and online. Order her over here if you want one.
Thanks to Victor and Joseph for the heads up.

It's 2016! TO THE FUTURE!
Look how painterly that one up there is. I'd put that on a wall and I bet no one would realize it's My Little Pony based.
Go get art below!

As many of you have picked up over our various recent book postings, Dragons on Dazzle Island has officially released as of a few days ago. This one comes from the same creator behind Under the Sparkling Sea from way back in 2013.
Because I'm a sucker for picture books thanks to a childhood absolutely filled with them, I volunteered to take the review on this one. Head on down below the break for it!

Time to talk about the last issue of the Micro series, staring the princess of the night!
As you can see, she's properly caffeinated for the event. The Equestrian Starebucks is set for the next decade.
Catch the full review after the break! Be warned, there's an extra shot of spoilers.

That's a lot of waifus. I wonder what would happen if multiple people fought over one? Would we have a new waifu war? Or is this still a giant joke?
NEW POLL:
Yesterday, we ran a new thing with Rarity Day drawfriends to let people avoid "saucy" images entirely. They were separated out into their own island for the people that like that sort of thing. We are trying to gauge feedback on if this was a good idea, or if we should just keep them behind links in the existing posts.
Chances are this won't happen often outside of pony themed days when art is corralled up, or at all depending on feedback in email, comments, and polls. We are monitoring it! Please let us know. It seemed like a good way to keep the "normal" art squeaky clean, and a compromise for the people that don't mind the risque stuff since Rarity apparently spawned so much. For examples:
Rarity Day Best of Art #1
Rarity Day Best of Art #2 (Saucy Warning)
Let us know via email or poll!
And get the results of this one below.

Recently Redd's EDM-focused side-project Crystarium a released a vocal chop-filled track called Going Nowhere, and here R3CTIFIER has given it a bit of a makeover. Whilst it still retains the original feel (and, arguably, genre), as the original, it's a lot more electro-oriented in a lot of the sound design, and I dig what he's done to it!op 9:00 AM

Nothing like good hugs from good friends right? Though maybe with Gabbie it's a little scary. She's pretty strong!

Rarity Day Draws to a Close
by Calpain
After a long day Rarity has decided it's time to call it for the night and snuggle on up with her favorite sister. We've had everything from comics, cosplays, art, crafts, a new Rarity story, a character analysis by Silver Quill and some audio books for you guys today to celebrate our favorite fashion horse.
Once again we couldn't have done it without you guys! Things were a bit more disorganized this time with a lot of emails containing just 'Rarity Day' in the title which made sorting harder, but I think we got to almost everything. We'll try our best to gather what we missed and put them in a Roundup later this week to serve as a makeup!
In the meantime, look forward to Sunset Shimmer day on the equinox happening late next week! So stay tuned for more fun down the line.
Thank you all for your participation in today's events and we hope you had fun! Have a lovely evening!
To catch up on all Rarity day things, head on over to this link.

We've had a long run here in ponyland, and quite a few amazing musicians over the years have put their talents into making us some of the catchiest tunes on the internet. Thanks to an exceedingly musical show, our remixes have absolutely dominated over on Youtune, and our originals are some of the highest rated fandom songs out there.
Below the break, we dive into 20 of the best Rarity themed pieces the fandom has produced over the years. Some remix, some original. Go get em!
