Nightly Roundup #1492
by Calpain
Seeing Dash in her Gala outfit just reminds me of how long ago season 1 seemed to be. I still remember watching my first new pony episode, Stare Master, way back in February 2011. Time really does fly doesn't it?
News time everyone! Get it while it's hot!

On Sunday the 4th of August starting at 6:30PM at Angels Rock Bar in Baltimore, will be held a momentous event for pony music that you don't wanna miss: Neighhem Festival, a series of organized live performances by awesome and active musicians from the community. Check out all those names on the official poster, such a dream lineup..! A dream coming true in more ways than one, it sure is something I'm very excited about. If you plan on going to the last BronyCon, then make sure to come attend Neighhem Festival! As explained beautifully in the promo video embedded below the break, it's just down the street from the convention center, and it's a great chance to party and have a drink with fellow pony musicians and pony music enthusiasts alike, and partake in live rock/metal music until dawn! Props to the organizers and everypony performing! This will make for an unforgettable time I'm sure! Follow Neighhem Fest's Twitter to stay updated, and check out the fine promo video below the break! And I hope to see you at the festival!

One of the explicitely pony story-centered tracks off Ponies at Dawn Skyward, this amazing treat from UndreamedPanic is definitely among my favorites from the album. Not only it blasts Panic's renowned musical prowess with a clean and mind-blowing Dubstep arrangement like none other, but it also retells the events of the S7 finale Shadow Play by sampling dialog lines from it and playing them masterfully and seamlessly into the mix! It feels so great to get a re-enactment of the finale in musical form, and with such a banger!

A radio show called "Brooke and Jubal" recently hit up a My Little Pony convention in their area, and interviewed a bunch of pony fans attending the event. Overall it's pretty positive. They even scoop up a musician to play some "Anthropology".
Head on over here to check it out.

It has been a while since we slapped an update out for TeePublic stuff. Quite a few fandom artists have continued to upload shirts there in the meantime, so we are a little behind on that. Apologies!
As always, shirts are $13, and everything else is 35% off.
Have a few standout ones, and links to various sections to find the new designs. There are a TON:

It's time to take a look back at Discord's crazy ex. A four-issue series that featured the ponies traveling far and wide with Cosmos' threat steadily growing.
Check out the full review after the break. Just be aware that reality is warped by spoilers!

The pre-quest in Borderlands 2 currently going on leading up to Borderlands 3 has apparently gone all-in on the Butt Stallion gag, decking their Rarity look-alike out in a brand new mini quest complete with the "My Brittle Pony" name and a "Friendship Amulet" that lets you feed the pony for a unique "Unicornsplosion" gun.
Borderlands has been doing pony references forever. It's neat to see them still bronying on over there.
Thanks to Kalecgos and Alexander for the heads up.

Compilation Album: The Experimental Bronies & noise.horse - Out of Limit 4: The Philosophy of Time
by MakenshiSo I just got back from the live release party over at noise.horse's Discord server and WOW I'm blown away, so many amazing and VERY creative tracks on this album, and lots of emotion too, I teared up quite a few times. Also that last post-show part was so cuddly and we were just supporting each other and sharing so much love, shout-out to all the party ponies and the crew, you are all wonderful! If you missed the party but still want to catch up with what happened, you can watch the full stream that's available on noise.horse's YouTube channel here. But above all, make sure to grab this new compilation album Out of Limit 4: The Philosophy of Time that is just so blissful and emotional, with many treats from talented musicians ranging from Ambient to Hardcore and even including an Experimental Rock track!
