Horse Wife took the fandom by storm for a while. "Who wouldn't want an adorable pony wife?" was both a common sentiment and a controversial topic. I think some people forget that wanting an animal wife is actually a pretty weird idea in general society, and this blog lead to many a debate while being ridiculously cute.

Last year, Pop Mart released a set of high quality molded pony toys that people around the fandom loved. They were apparently successful. We have yet another set, this time based around ponies visiting the spa, with multiples of the mane 6 up for grabs.
Their Twitter page announced them with a release date of the 26th of this month, so expect them soon apparently! I'll get a reminder up once they are available.

Hasbro has opened a pop-up gallery in the city center of Shanghai to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the My Little Pony franchise with art and fashion showcases based on the various generations of My Little Pony.
According to an official Weibo post, the 40th anniversary art exhibition is open from May 20 to June 11, at 10:00–20:00 every day, and is located at 862–864 Huaihai Middle Road in Huangpu District, Shanghai.
In addition to prints, paintings, scuptures and clothing created by Hasbro and its partners and licensees, the gallery appears to include a selection of art submitted by children who are fans of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

On the Amazon UK website, images have been added to a pre-release listing for a "My Little Pony RAINBOW CELEBRATION" toy set, revealing its contents: the brushable ponies included are Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie from G4, Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow from G5, and Minty from G3. The ponies all use G5-style molds and are probably about 6 inches tall.
