Tv Media Insights has posted ratings up for the week of December 16th. Included in this mix is none other than Power Ponies. How did it fair in comparison to the other FiM Episodes so far? Amazingly well actually!
Power ponies had 683,000 viewers during it's 10:30 AM slot, completely clobbering Daring Don't at 397,000 and almost matching the season premiere at 733k. Good work everyone!
Thanks to StatManDan for the heads up. -

Two people going by the name of Muffyderp and Applejack ran into these in Malaysia at a booth-like store called 1Utama. As they pointed out, they are probably created locally noting the tag Maggie T. They defenitly look like some kind of bootleg. Half of them have these ant-eater snouts, the others have shorter ones. A detailed list of features on each plushie can be found below the break!
Seriously though, those snouts.

Hello again art enthusiasts! Today we've got a late Christmas gift for you guys in the form of some wonderful work by some very talented artists today. Coming from a range of backgrounds you're sure to find something you like in today's selection so have a look after the break!
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

Another day, another daily shirt. Shirtpunch has this one available temporarily for the next five hours or so. If you are a fan of the Fox sitcom Bob's Burgers, it might be right up your alley. The rest of us will just have to wait for another one of those C3PO Star Wars shirts with the correct generation!
Get it over here. -
Technically most of you said you listen to vocal stuff over the others in that discussion we had a while back. Lets see if that is true! Hit the comments up on either the videos or below with some feedback, and try out that x/5 rating thing too. Charge!
1.) The L-Train - Fili-Second (Vocal - Rock / Parody)
2.) Przewalski's Ponies - Full Moon (Leaving Home) (Vocal - Symphonic Metal)
3.) Sisters United II: A Better Place (ft. FraGmenTd) (Vocal - Acoustic Celtic)

For those who were confused or concerned about the sudden change of episode 11's synopsis, put your fears at ease; according to Hasbro's Mike Vogel, both episodes are airing and, apparently, both of them are pretty awesome.
As of now, "Three's a Crowd" is airing on January 25th, with the Weird Al musical airing at a later date under a different title.
Despite the scheduling changes, looks like we've got several highly hyped episodes on the way! -
An updated version of this press release has been released by Discovery with a completely new synopsis listed for "Three's a Crowd". While the old one still appears to exist in the archives, the new one does not list Weird Al. at all, in fact it seems to be an entirely different episode. While the polka playing super star is still coming in at some point in the season (confirmed at multiple locations, including Al Yankovic himself retweeting our news announcement), it looks like the actual January 25th episode may not be his.
Either someone derped initially, or someone who updated it derped now. I guess only time will tell!
Head on down below the break for the "New" Synopsis for "Three's a Crowd!"
Thanks to Nostalgia Schmaltz for the heads up.

Let's try something new, shall we? A bunch of y'all expressed interest in getting fanfiction recommendations from the pre-readers back in May. That's all well and good, but how about we turn that on its head?
Why don't you tell everyone else what you recommend? Give us the fix. (See what I did there? Master-level post title/content integration)
There are hordes of you every Sunday morning itching to let loose with copy-pastes the moment a new episode followup goes live. I'll wager that there's a non-zero number of you who also read fanfiction, and have oodles to say about it, too. Since we're limited in how much fic we can post, this could be a nifty way to get the word out on what stories really speak to you -- and you'll also make a bunch of authors who may not otherwise get much attention really, really happy in the process.
If this pilot run does well, we'll keep posting these on a monthly basis -- for now, expect them on the fourth Thursday of every month. And for those of you who were wondering what happened to our Royal Canterlot Library cross-posts -- I suddenly got a job. As a compromise, we'll toss in links to the RCL's features for the month as well. Be sure to click the links to read the interviews -- they're way too informative to paste in here!
Anyway, that's enough column inches from me. Head below the break for democracy! I for one look forward to reading what everyone has to recommend.

Time for some more of that totally off the wall random merch! We start this one off with some bedding supplies found at Walmart by Victorsaurus. If you didn't already ponify your room enough already, it's time to take that extra step! At least this one isn't completely pink.
Get some random merch below!

I wonder if we will be getting any flashback episodes with our ponies in the future? It would be interesting to see some more of the adventures they had as kids.
Comics guys, click for full.
