  • Music: UndreamedPanic - Cold [Electro House]

A new track from UndreamedPanic is always a welcome sight, and this one's a bit heavier than his last release! With a powerful bassline and strong percussion coming in right away, it quickly builds up to a pretty cool drop focusing on a pretty cool lead sound. The middle section is a lot more chilled out before it goes back into the heavy stuff. Make sure to check it out below for  a pretty heavy electro track!

  • Overmare Studios Releases Info on FoE Game Weapon Condition and Repair System

Progress continues on the Fallout Equestria game as they release a bunch of information on how the weapon condition and repair system will work! While they have a full blog explaining everything in detail they were nice enough to summarize the update for us:

Much like in Fallout 3/NV system, a weapon's condition will go down whenever used, aka fired. Whenever a weapon's overall condition hits 0%, it will be classified as Broken and cannot be re-equipped until repaired.

Largest differentiating factor with our system is that instead of just overall weapon condition, weapons will be comprised of multiple parts (i.e. frame, receiver, barrel, etc), each with their own condition (and max condition), and different penalties on low condition (e.g. barrel will reduce accuracy). These penalties start increasing when part is below 75% condition. A part with 0% condition doesn't prevent a weapon from being used, but will give the largest penalties. Weapon's overall condition is simply a sum of its parts' condition.

In order to repair a weapon, the player can either use another similar weapon, or spare parts (which there will be multiple different variants of), or even a completely different class of weapon with same types of parts, provided they have an appropriate perk. When repairing with another weapon the player will be able to select which all parts to repair, but the used weapon will always be consumed on use. However, this is balanced by the fact that repairing only one part will give much larger condition boost towards that specific part than if repairing all the parts at once.

  • Adorable Lyra - Ponygatari

Lyra went anime opening, with a pony version of Bakemonogatari. If you have no idea what that is, fear not, for I had no clue either and it was still a fun watch.

Head on down below the break for Lyra!

  • Alt-Right Political MLP Parody Hits Boston Globe

Oh boy, what is it with ponies and politics this year? I blame 2016, though I blame 2016 for just about everything. Apparently in a recent edition of the Boston Globe a comic poking fun at the alt-right movement has appeared, using ponies as a way to parody the group and recent politics in the US.

I don't really approve of politics in pony, especially since I like to keep my real life and pony separate, but it is another case of ponies in a major newspaper so here we are.

Check on after the break for the cartoon. It's a little blurry but you should be able to read it.

Huge warning: Politics are a sensitive topic nowadays, especially so recently. Just be cautious before checking after the break if you don't want to see any politics or themes that you're sick seeing/upset you and try to keep conversations civil. I know it can be hard considering how passionate people are about it.

Thanks to Daniel for sending it in.

  • Animation: A Very Sombra Christmas

Wonder what Sombra is up to this Christmas? Well, Derek Pony has the answer in this short little Christmas animation!

    Get it after the break!

  • Music: Seventh Element - Canterlot Insomnia [Future Garage]

It feels like Seventh Element has been around forever, so it's awesome to see that after all this time he's still plugging away and releasing innovative and immersive new tunes. Canterlot Insomnia is the opening track of his upcoming concept album Fear Of Dark. If this is any indication, the album will be quite a journey. With an ambient intro full of dark overtones, excellent percussion and wonderful use of vocal sampling and auxiliary sounds help to mould a sinister and oppressive mood throughout.

  • PMV: Runnin / In This Life

We have two solid PMV's with excellent synching to the beat, a little bit of typography, and a general good feel. If you want a good way to spend 8 minutes, go be entertained below!

  • Episode Rewatch - Call of the Cutie

As we move into the mid-season of season 1 we finally arrive at the episode that introduced another set of characters that have played an all important role in the history of the show and the fandom: the creation of the CMC and the introduction of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

While not considered an amazing episode at the time, especially since folks were upset that these young fillies were taking time away from the main cast, looking back on it you can't deny how important of an episode it was. After all, establishing these characters did bring some adorable sisterly and friendship interactions!

Check on after the break for the episode and some highlights!
