Starlight at the beginning was a bit of a polarizing character, especially after her defeat and, to some (including me at the time), her sudden reformation despite probably being one of the closest villains to bring Equestria to total ruin. There were problems with her backstory on becoming evil and other multiple issues early on in her introduction. I still remember the drama of her hypnotizing episode...But as time has gone on, I believe things have gotten more favorable for Starlight. Whether it is through actions in the show or fandom rehabilitation through the myriad pieces of art, comics and other creations we've put her through to change our perspective of her, she does seem more well-liked.So what do you think? Did you think her character development was done ok? Do you think she was a good addition or shoehorned in? I can't help but get Guild Wars vibes out of this one. An early concept image drawn by P.R.Mayer has revealed a very different looking world for G5 than what we ended up with. They had a Ponyville planned apparently, complete with hobbit holes and crazy looking windmill architecture. I wonder what the show would have been like if we ended up with this?

The Legends of Equestria team has released another big update for everyone out there looking to get back into the pony MMORPG. The annual Winter Wrap Up event has returned, and with it new enemy attacks and animations, new character Interactions, and of course the usual balancing.

The future is nearly here! You may find yourself waking up to owning your very own robot pony in the future. How will that play out? Will she be a bat?
Today we have a new animation from LFO, not with SFM ponies or any of the other 3D models we've seen over the years, but with the H-Mart OpenPony, albiet with a modified head. Hopefully this brings on a new wave of animations. OpenPony is amazing.
