Time to try out a new feature on Equestria Daily!
I know from skimming the comments sections here that one of the biggest concerns for the comics is how well they are doing. From a sales standpoint, I mean. An estimated sales standpoint, but something worth looking at nonetheless.
In this series, we'll be plunging deep into Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. monthly indexed sales esitmates as they appear on
www.comichron.com. What does that mean? John Miller—owner of Comichron—explains
the whole thing right here. It's an informative read into some of the more obscure history of the comic industry, and specifically Diamond Comic Distributors.
What will we discover? The numbers that show how
My Little Pony has been fairing at IDW. How often will this be updated? Diamond Releases their estimated figures every month, so about once a month… shortly after Comichron has been updated and when not doing Pony History (more on that in a minute). What will those numbers prove? Aside from trends in the market, I'll leave that for you to decide. I'll just present the information as it appears from Comichron.
For those of you wondering how the
My Little Pony comics have been doing in the past, you'll just have to wait a little longer. There's going to be a new Pony History segment opening up which will cover that very topic.
After the break, you can check out how IDW's
My Little Pony comics faired against the rest of their comic offerings in March of 2017. Be sure to tell us what you think about this below!
