Apples to the Core was easily one of my favorite songs this past season. What really made the song was not only the music itself, but the fun visuals that went along with it. Hoping we get just as memorable tunes next season!
For now, let's all start to talking! Get it all in the comments.

Description: Twilight Sparkle's tenure in Ponyville has been anything but calm. Since the Summer Sun celebration, she's dealt with a variety of foes, from Nightmare Moon to dragons, hydras, Discord, and King Sombra. But when Pinkie Pie asks for help with a small problem, Twilight finds herself pulling out all the stops to deal with the most dastardly (and curious) fiend yet encountered: Sugarcube Corner’s haunted mailbox. Two Part Applejack Western "The Good, The Bad, and the Ponies" On it's way from The Comic Series
by Sethisto
Applejack is about to get a whole bunch of love in the official comic series. According to Katie Cook over on Twitter, the 25th and 26th comics will be spotlighting her via a western style "The Good, the Bad, and the Ponies" arc. We have a ways to go before it arrives, but Applejack just might be getting some of that love she needs here if these guy's past track record is any indication.
Thanks to Robert and Tervicz for the heads up!

It sure is nice of Rarity to indulge AJ like this, but I'm thinking AJ should really get a hobby of some sort.

The final scenes of the final episode of season 4 played host to a bit of friendship between both Discord and Celestia, and the last few months have exploded in the concept that they are or were a couple. It was always a bit far fetched, but we love clinging to things, don't we fandom?
Meghan McCarthy has cleared it up on the MLP Facebook page. Turns out it was more meant to be an apologetic gesture as opposed to saucy backroom shenanigans before the whole locked in stone thing, or potential future relationship.
The more you know!

A little while ago, we posted an announcement about Mega Mare X, an upcoming project by Starlight Studios. Almost immediately after, they contacted me and asked if I was interested in playing a demo stage.
Of course I was! And I'm happy to report that the early game play lived up to my hype about it. Lyra controls perfectly like X, fighting her way through a plethora of unique enemy types amidst some very creative backdrops. The game is still in its early stages and shows some signs of being rough around the edges, but the core elements shine strongly.
One thing that's especially wonderful is the stage design. The idea of "flow" is very important to the X series, since stages are continuous and lacking in the set-piece "rooms" that the classic Mega Man series is famous for. Instead, good challenge should result from high speed navigation of obstacles using the character's powerful suite of abilities, and this intro stage does a wonderful job of preserving that feeling of momentum that made Mega Man X a fan favorite (although the elevator to nowhere feels a little weird).
Interested in seeing more? Check below the break for a full video rundown of the demo stage, and see the promise for yourself!

Not too long ago we had an interview with artist Agnes Garbowska on her work with the IDW MLP series and other comic projects! Now we've got an interview courtesy of Babble with Bronies with IDW writer Ted Anderson whose work includes the Pinkie Microseries and the latest Trixie arc in the main series plus many more!
Check on after the break for the skype interview and some more information on this fascinating man.

For all of you people looking to collect the tattooed CMC line of toys, they are starting to pop up over on Ebay. No one has confirmed an actual physical location to pick them up at yet, but I'm sure we will see one soon, most likely at Target or Walmart if the past Wild Rainbow toys are any indication.
Thanks to Lucy for the images!

Description: When Derpy fills out her tax return, she finds that she owes quite a bit of money. However, she seems to have an alternative way of settling the debt. She might even have fun. A chance for creativity doesn't come around that often, after all.

A good amount of you were asking for this one. While we only nabbed the super important things here at EQD, someone going by the name of Trent snagged the full panel in two parts with reasonable audio. Quite a few interesting moments happened in this one, from the swarms if kids asking funny questions, to the panelists responses that just don't portray well in text. Head on down below the break for both parts!

Some interesting little tidbits popped up during the IDW panel on Sunday. The images above paint a pretty good picture on what we can expect. The 25th comic in the series will be Applejack focused, and from what the submitter points out may be a one shot as opposed to the usual arc. We also got a look at the actual power ponies (not the mane 6), along with two new villains in the first slide up above.
Quite a bit of fun stuff is on the way. Hopefully more information arrives soon!
Thanks to Robert for sending it!
