The League of Extraordinary Gamers TwitchTV Charity Marathon
The League of Extraordinary Gamers are a charity marathon group that was founded by KitsuneKyon. Unlike other charity marathon groups that you might've seen, she pulls the entire TwitchTV community together to cast for many a great cause! We would like to invite you to join us in our effort to show the world that video games can be used for more than just "entertainment" and help make the world we live in a better place now and in the future. As of now, the group has risen over 39K various charities. Starting July 22nd and lasting until the 29th, the charity we're currently gaming for is EveryMan: a charity dedicated to the research and cure of prostate and testicular cancer.

A bunch of folks from the SoCal Bronies meetup group who weren't in any panels on Saturday afternoon met up at the Omni hotel and then headed over to The Broken Yolk for lunch. Tetrapony drew a "best pony" sketch for each person while we waited for our food. When Justin arrived with his Derpy signed by Lauren Faust it became the celebrity of the meetup (after the Aquabats, who were hanging out for a while at an adjoining table). After lunch the MLP table was cleared for our group shot. One of the table numbers with Rainbow Dash (there was no 20; we asked) and a menu "accidentally" made it into my swag bag.

Ponyworld CR at Kamen 2012

In Costa Rica there is a famous animation, cosplay and culture festival called "Kamen Festival". This year, Ponyworld CR, the Costa Rica biggest MLP fan page, was in it. We started a couple of months ago, so our stand was very little, but many people seemed to be interested and asked for information. Now we are 182 members in Ponyworld, all of us have in common the love for MLP and we want to share it with you. My friends and I really hope to be in many festivals and conventions as be possible, joining new fans to the herd and sharing our passion for MLP.
