If you had a one-way portal to Equestria, but you would always emerge a villain on the other side, would you take it? You'd have to deal with the Mane 6 and company somehow, but you would arive undetected and unknown. What would you do if you did?
I think I would take it. Being evil is fun :P.
Nah for real though, if I was forced into being evil, I would definately try and take a Cozy Glow approach where no one would ever suspect me, but I slowly accumulate the peices to an unscalable wall of power. Hopefully I also wouldn't have the ego to go with it, but you know, it comes with the job of being a villain in pony it seems.
I suppose you could also just joing as a minion, like a changeling in Chrysalis' army if that's more your style.
