From the organizers of Ponyville Ciderfest and MLP-MSP F, Whinny City Pony Con is back for our fourth year!
Chicagoland’s biggest My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan convention returns to the wonderful Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, IL on April 5th – 7th, 2019! Registration, as well as applications for Staff, Vendors, Community Guests, Musicians, Panels, and our hotel room block can now all be found on our website!
Our theme for 2019 is “Midwest Adventure”, where we will aim to capture the excitement of all kinds of experiences!
Perhaps you’re travelling from far away places? Or maybe you’re discovering new people and making new friendships? Possibly even competing in exciting new challenges? You don’t need to visit ancient ruins for these things, because adventures can be found anywhere!
Announcing our first "Season Pass"!
We're putting on THREE MLP:FiM conventions this year, and we will have a few different rewards for folks that make it to all three of them! Here's what we have lined up:
- If you purchase a badge* for both Whinny City Pony Con 2019 and MLP-MSP F, you will receive a 30% off code that can be used towards a badge for Ponyville Ciderfest 2019!
To be eligible, simply purchase a badge for WCPC19 and MLP-MSP F with the SAME Eventbrite account and with the SAME badge name. After MLP-MSP F is over, we will determine who is eligible and send them their codes!
* Code will be eligible for the lower tier of the WCPC19 and MLP-MSP F badges that you purchase. For example if you get a WCPC19 Alicorn Sponsor but only a MLP-MSP F Weekend Badge, then the code will be for 30% off a PVCF19 Weekend Badge. Likewise if you get the top-tier Alicorn Sponsor and whatever the top-tier sponsorship for MLP-MSP F is, then the 30% off code will be for the top-tier PVCF19 Equestria Sponsor!
All pre-registered, paid badge types including Spirit Badges are eligible for the discount EXCEPT for any Vendor-type badges, "At The Door" Weekend Badges or single day passes. Special Event tickets are also not eligible. All three cons will have similar tiers, so the same badge level at all three cons should have relatively the same perks. Codes will not be transferable. Only the badge purchase is necessary; don't worry if something comes up and you can't make it to one of the cons, as long as you pre-registered for a badge you're good. All details subject to change just in case we overlooked something.
- Everyone that attends all three cons will be invited to an exclusive reception at Ponyville Ciderfest 2019! This includes ALL badge types, including free ones like Staff and Panelists!
- Additionally, everyone that attends all three cons will receive a special TBA gift to show off their accomplishment! We'll have a better idea of what this will be once we see how many people will be eligible.

We want to make our convention as great as we can for our attendees, and a big part of that is bringing in the Guests of Honor that you want to see. But they only way we can do that is if you let us know who we should invite! Take our Guest of Honor Survey to tell us who we should invite! Don't delay, because the survey will close at the end of December 23rd, 2018!

Additionally,
our site is now a Progressive Web App! On iOS (via Safari) and on most
Android browsers, the "Add to Home Screen" menu option will "install"
the website like an app to your home screen to give you the quickest way
to brose to our site!
