After Much Interest In a New Las Vegas Ponycon, HRPC Announces Their First Guest
Las Vegas, NV: High Roller Pony Con (HRPC) is a fully funded and impressively staffed My Little Pony convention dedicated to bringing an excellent con-going experience back to Las Vegas, Nevada. HRPC is proud to announce our very first VIP guest, Bill Newton!
Bill Newton is an Australian actor, voice actor and writer, working in Vancouver, British Columbia.
You may recognize Bill Newton as the voice of Bright Mac, Applejack & Apple Bloom's father. After several years and 6 seasons of asking "What's the deal with Applejack's parents," we finally got our answer. The heart warming and impressively acted episode "The Perfect Pear" was the 13th episode of season 7 and the 156th episode overall. It doesn’t end there as Bill Newton is also known for the voice of Pharynx in "To Change as Changeling", the 17th episode of season 7 and the 160th episode overall. Bill is a new addition to the My Little Pony cast but his talent as a voice actor has not gone unnoticed by HRPC or the fandom at large and we are proud to have him appear at HRPC on June 1st and 2nd, 2018.
Bill's talent does not begin and end with My Little Pony though. He is also known for his work on Grey Goo, an RTS video game receiving "mostly positive" reviews on Steam, as well as Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Shadow Sun, and Beyblade Burst.
Bill’s background in theatre, singing and musicianship have prepared him for anything coming his way, and he can’t wait to take on as many new and interesting roles as the world will throw at him! Bill likes travelling, video games, Scotch whiskey and cats.
