HEARTH'S WARMING EVE SYMPHONIC ROCK OPERA
I'm seeking a co-writer, primarily someone experienced in writing lyrics, who is interested in putting together a symphonic rock opera chronicling the events leading up to the founding of Equestria (Season 2, "Hearth's Warming Eve"). Rather than a Christmas album, I'd like to examine the three separate pony tribes and their eventual union into Equestria. Stylistically, I'm looking to do something in the vein of The L-Train's symphonic metal operas "Moonrise" and "Fall of an Empire," mixing vocals, rock and orchestral instrumentation.
A co-writer with instrumental ability is preferred. While I've primarily handled composition and orchestration (rather than lyrics) for MLP songs in the past, I'm flexible as to how we share musical and lyrical duties or whether we each handle one half of the equation.
