• TrotCon 2015 - QUIET! We have a new guest announcement...

Now that was fast! TrotCon has a surprise guest for you guys today, that Kelly Sheridan, the voice of Starlight Glimmer, will be attending this year so that she can spread equality to all.

Besides her work on pony she is known for her work on Ranma, Inuyasha, and much more! Check on after the break to learn more about Kelly as well as information on how to attend TrotCon!

Here's what we were thinking after last week's season 5 premiere of My Little Pony: OK, a lot of things. Many things. Perhaps too many to name in this space. Y'all have done most of the talking on social media anyway, so no need to get too into that anyway.

One thing we CAN reveal is that it gave us what we thought would be a GREAT new guest idea. Well, dudes, things worked out and we can now announce that Kelly Sheridan will be attending TrotCon 2015!

You'll know Kelly from a whole score of things; after all, she's been in the voice acting business for a long, long time. But most recently in our little world, she voiced Starlight Glimmer, the villain of the season 5 premiere "The Cutie Map." That's right: now you can ask her to do the "QUIET!" voice while you get an autograph if you so desire and as long as she's down! Just... don't make it happen because you literally need to be quiet. Don't be that guy or gal, yo.

In addition to her work with MLP, Kelly has been the voice of Barbie in many of Mattel's feature-length films starring the doll many of you may have had as a kid, plenty of anime English dub roles including Ukyo in 'Ranma 1/2' and Sango from 'Inuyasha,' the Scarlet Witch from 'X-Men Evolution' and much more. Starlight Glimmer also wasn't her first foray into MLP: she voiced Melody in 'My Little Pony Tales,' Cotton Candy in multiple 2000s-era MLP creations and even Cheerilee in 'My Little Pony: Meet the Ponies' and 'Twinkle Wish Adventure.' Far out, right?

Sheridan is the newest addition to the TrotCon guest list, which includes the recently announced M.A. Larson plus G.M. Berrow, Brian Drummond, Brynna Drummond, Heather Breckel and plenty of awesome fandom/community guests. And are we done? Stay tuned, y'all.

TrotCon 2015 will be held July 17-19 at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North in Columbus, Ohio. Weekend badges are on sale until June for $45 with a $50 price at the door along with single-day passes. Our sponsor badges are still available as well, with chances to meet VIPs, get some rad goodies and more!
