• Hasbro Entertainment Replacing eOne

The eOne saga continues! After announcing that they'd be selling eOne to Lionsgate for 500 million, Hasbro has revealed that replacing it will be a completely in-house division called Hasbro Entertainment.

The eOne roots won't be completely gone either. They are absorbing three big names from the company. Oliver Dumont will be shifting from his role as president of family brands to president of Hasbro Entertainment in general, and Zev Foreman joins Gabriel Marano to serve as head film and head of television.

Hopefully this sets us up for an interesting future for G5! Hasbro's president of toy licensing and entertainment specifically mentions My Little Pony as part of their storytelling catalogue, included with Peppa Pig and Transformers.

Thanks to Spamotron for the heads up.
