So much music!
ReplyDeleteFinally, Jazz!
ReplyDelete...and pretty good too from the sound of it.
Liked the last two. The others just didn't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteThat remix at the bottom...
ReplyDeleteWe Dunno is best music genre.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite music is the kind that defies definition, so I know that I'm going to enjoy the 4th one.
I like that POny jazz
ReplyDelete#2 is well done, with the voices of the characters\

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why but I really, really, really enjoyed all five of these instrumentals. They were just all so good. I thought the use of actual trains in the first one was a nice touch. And I can say with absolute certainty that those are New York City trains. Look them up on YouTube if you'd like. The rest were pretty awesome as well. Second was definitely cheerful, third rocked hard, fourth was WTF (good kind of WTF) and last one had a great beat and melody.
ReplyDeleteI said it before and I'll say it again: Flim and Flam are AWESOME! Therefore #4 is awesome. Also knowing sci personally it's cool to know the influences he has in making his music. Considering we both fall in the range of odd music can say I like #4 very much for it's experimentation. The jazz was also really well done (maybe a little too loud on the saxophones at times but that's only a minor detail).
ReplyDeleteDat jazz
ReplyDeleteThese were awesome. I love jazz. Too bad it wasn't a real band. That would have made it about just as awesome as possible.
ReplyDeleteAlso, @DashieBro I'd appreciate it if you didn't spam. :/
Brony-made music has delved into jazz? My life just came a little closer to being complete.
ReplyDeleteHaha I recognize the train loop from the first one! It's from Bjork's song "I've Seen It All"
ReplyDeleteI love the instramentals.
ReplyDelete1. thats a keeper, definatly downloading!
2. very upbeat and humorus
3. near the end it reminded me,sounded like "The Power Rangers" theme.
4. very well composed.
5. kinda makes you squrim in your chair to the beat.
Best piece of pony jazz I've heard since that Trixie piece "Come One, Come All" came out a few weeks ago. I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! Quoting Charles Mingus' Moanin' in the first tune. That shows excellent taste.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone who doesn't know what I'm babbling about, that bari sax line that comes in at 2:13 is from this:
