Hey, brony musicians, you think you can lay off the making music for a while? Compiling a new megapack is difficult when you make 20 hours of music each day.
Wow. I think this is the first music update in a long time where I honestly loved all three songs o.O
#1 - Oh my god kids, THIS IS HOW YOU CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE. And when the ante was upped at 1:55, I was straight drawn in. This is absolutely incredibly done.
#2 - I'm not smart enough to critique this sort of musical genius.
#3 - Maybe it's not the level of the other 2, but this is incredibly catchy, and for all the repetition the guy makes, he still finds a way to stave off boredom by constantly and smoothly switching up the beat :D
Thank you all for your reviews. I desperately need them. I am #3, CopyCat. Do not fret, there will be more pony music. But, unlike my past work, I will not release a song until I am sure it will be worth 100 replays. Thank you, EqD, for the publicity, and thank you listeners, for listening.
Hey ya'll! Thanks to those that commented on our music c: I personally appreciate the comments directed at #1 lol. And I absolutely LOVE #2. Congrats on a wondrous piece my dear brony. I will hold back my comments on #3 for I am a poor judge on electronic music. I hardly know what goes into it. But it certainly unique I suppose. c: And now, what is up w/ the rest of you all? Most of you are focusing on the people who call first or what have you, and miss the what the post is about entirely. I find this offensive not only to myself, but to the other musicians who worked hard on their pieces and received the honor of having them featured here for you all to see. It would benefit our work if you added something relevant to the post with the comment you originally intended to write. It is a privilege to hear what you have to say about our music. c: _Bagpipe Brony
#3 has a nice beat and all, but I think the "C Sharp" bit may have gone and got all Cutty McCutterpants and accidentally all the lyrics.
Seriously... Part of the charm of Winter Wrap Up is the lyrics... This takes all the lyrics and uses them as little more than randomized notes... It's OK, I guess. The sound and beats are good, but I just can't help but feel like it's lacking that charm.
@Joe Huergo This is extremely impressive....I've got it playing on loop as I type. I just, love it. I get little shivers down my spine. Definitely can't wait to hear un-chopped-up vocals as well!

I thought at first that Mare-Do-Well was a spinoff of Darkwing Duck. Good, nonetheless.....
ReplyDeleteForst c minor and now c sharp? Im okay with this
*first (not referring to order of comments, just typo)
ReplyDeleteFirst!!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaja ibeat you alll ahahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI'm more disappointed that it isn't actually a spin-off of DWD I loved that show as a kid. Oh and 2nd! =D

ReplyDeletelol so close
There are some good piano bits in there.
ReplyDeleteI like number one's concept and song, escpecially at 1:55 when it changes tone.
Number two: now that takes skill to play. I tip my hat off to you, brony. That was amazing
Number three sounded very weird to me at first (and still sounds alien), but still good nonetheless. I still think that C-minor is better than C-sharp
POST ALL OF THE MUSIC
ReplyDelete@GeorgiaBrony2000 This, my friends is the essence of a stereotypical firster. Gaze upon it, that's right, gaze at it's misfortune.......

ReplyDeleteIt would be FOREVER LONG but it would be a good forever long. :D
I wondered how long it'd take #1 to get posted here.
ReplyDeleteComments here on EqD seem to keep going downhill... guess I'm not cool until I'm trying to first, second, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I liked them all. Think I liked the first the most. Very nice. Sounded wonderful. The third is a cool unique little mix too though.
@Octavia that profile pic. Yay. I remember seeing it before somewhere.
ReplyDeleteAnd what are you saying? Everybody but those who first and second and so on are cool and respected (unless they do or say something otherwise)
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeletesomething otherwise
Woah. Idea. Hasbro uses Mare Do Well to sell MLP to LITTLE BOYS as an ACTION HERO

ReplyDeleteWell you did a good job, that's why it's featured! :D
@Joe Huergo Hey, I just saw you made it on here. Congrats! I think it's really good.
ReplyDelete#1 reminds me of... Lock's Quest? Wow, brain. What an odd thing to pick.

1. Intense and satisfying.
ReplyDelete2. I get a beautiful feeling from this!
3. Catchy, vey catchy!
Buck that stupid mare-do-mare, I want TRIXIE instead of her in S3, k?

I guess it's just not my style.
@richfiles
ReplyDeleteI understand. However, that IS the sound I was going for. I adore the edge of cutted/sliced sounds. Just my interest, is all.
Don't worry, I'm not going to go PinkiePieSwear and do it for every song. I'm going to have a very broad variety of music. Keeping it fresh.
