I wonder if we will ever see some kind of expansion on Celestia's abilities? Her response to pretty much every issue is "make Twilight Sparkle do it". I'm looking forward to some expansion, if any!
@Celestia We KNOW you've been watching. Honestly with a telescope like that it's hard not to notice. In fact it's a bit of a flight hazard for all the pegasi in the area, so could you come up with a better way to spy on us? Thanks. -Concerned Citizens of Ponyville
Well... Twilight is basically Celestia's apprentice. That's what an apprentice is for. You make them do the easier things they can handle and you do the tougher things they can't. :P
#1 Haha. Celestia has awesome spying abilities it seems. If but a bit obvious. I love the wording on the scope. "In case of loss return to Celestia. No rewards." Lmao. Celestia you cheapskate.
#2 Dem combustible lemons I tell ya... Scootaloo cheers when it explodes. lol Also, Scootaloo in Trixie outfit, aww. <3
Ooooh those CMC and their antics. Lol at combustible lemons and Sweetie Belle being a dictionary! Also, why don't they just go to Photo Finish to learn about de magics?
#1 I could make a monty python joke here but i'll link it instead here
Besides I don't always tell Twilight to do things, I tell Twilight and her friends. Sometimes Luna too, Twilight needs practice and Luna's a little rusty.
#2 Looks like this is part of a series, I like it.
Oh and why would I offer a reward for finding it? you'd have to be blind to miss it.
@InkBluPegasus. Would anyone believe that the combustible lemon joke was a last minute addition to the comic, and that I didn't have it in the initial layout? Sweetie belle was initially supposed to magic an apple.
>Her response to pretty much every issue is "make Twilight Sparkle do it". I'm looking forward to some expansion, if any!
Celestia: Hmm... so they want a reason for this do they... TWILIGHT! I have a very important mission for you! You and your friends must discover the reason why I make you and your friends do everything!

#2 well, that brings up a point. Other than some little bits shown here and there, how DO ponies learn magic?!
First first comment AND Cave Johnson's lemons! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow celestia is a peeping princess with that thing.

The classroom looks like it would be a lot of fun, I wish I was a kid so I could attend
ReplyDeletei'd like to point out to everypony that that strip of "classroom follies" is the ELEVENTH in a series.
ReplyDeleteif you haven't already read all the other ones, links to them are all in the description of the comic.
@Rhe7oric. You did notice correctly. I like throwing little details like that in my comics

ReplyDeleteWell she handled the issue in Lesson Zero, but that was because Twilight Sparkle was the cause of it...
ReplyDeleteDo you know who I am?
ReplyDeleteI'm the filly who's gonna burn your house down...with the lemons!

Twilight: ...Yes Princess.
Haha, classic gags!
ReplyDelete1. Celestia is a spy.
ReplyDelete2.Sweetie belle the dictionary and we learn that there isn't a magic kindergarten in Ponyville.
These are both such cute and funny comics!
ReplyDeleteScout: Dat freakin' Celestia's a spy!!
ReplyDelete#1 But, what if I'm doing....private things? Is Celestia watching as well?! I would certainly hope not!
ReplyDelete#2 Gah! The puns! Seriously, we have:
???
Profit! (Get Cutie Marks);
a Star Wars reference for good measure;
and Cave Johnson's combustible lemons.
If you tossed in Over 9000, my head would of probably exploaded. Twice. (Ok, I'm done milking that joke)
@Unknown. I believe in efficiency in my comics, I also put in dictionary sweetie belle and obsessaloo in for good measure.
ReplyDeleteSweetie Bell is gonna get her cutie mark for working as an engineer at Aperture Science!
ReplyDeleteWITH CELESTIA AS MY WITNESS, I SHALL NEVER BE HUNGRY AGAIN!
ReplyDeleteYou're bumping into a classic D&D question: Why is this high level $CLASS$ that hired us not dealing with it himself?
ReplyDeleteThe answer is, of course: "I am dealing with it myself. I've used some of my resources to hire a group of adventurers."
Likewise, one of Celestia's resources is a gifted and skilled unicorn and her friends.
