The first two are made by very notable Poopers in the fandom. Naturally I'm subscribed to both already. The 3rd one could use some work but Final Fantasy plus My Little Pony is epic winning.
I love Final Fantasy VI so much. I really want to start working on a pony version of Final Fantasy VI's story. Hell, I already have an OC named Terra. I could totally port her into Final Fantasy VI.
There is so much that can be done with the soundtrack from Final Fantasy VI. In my opinion parts IV and VI are the number 1 best story lines ever written. Part V was good too but I loved VI the most. I never got to play II and only play part of III on the DS. Each FF after VI got worse and worse.
It's nice seeing all the FF6 fans in these comments! They were all great, I was mostly excited for #3 because Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite game, period. I liked #2 because they used only Applejack samples, which I would assume is hard to do. I've heard people say that Applejack didn't produce any decent samples, but this says otherwise. #1 was cool too, because, well, it's Star Wars. What more can I say? Plus I always thought that song was catchy.
Final Fantasy VI. That, full stop, brought a tear to my eye. Many Tears of Nostalgia™. Best. Game. Of. All. Time. EVER!
Nobody can ever top Final Fantasy VI. Ever. I don't know why they keep trying to this day.
This ponification, I approve. Epic. I also agree with the comment further up that we need ponified Dancing Mad. All three stages of the tower PLUS Kefka. THAT would be an epic challenge. Seventeen minutes of epic ponyness that told Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja/Garland, Seymour/Yu Yevon, Shadowlord/Kam'lnaut & Eald'narche/Promathia/Alexander/Lilith, Vayne Solidor/The Occuria, and Barthandelus/Orphan how an endgame is properly done.
Kefka pretty much told Garland, Mateus, Cloud of Darkness, Zemus, and Exdeath they weren't doing it right (but he gave Exdeath points for trying for breaking physics, however), and then proceeded to show everyone how it's done.
Man, I kinda got off track here, huh? Final Fantasy VI does that to me. It's that epic. So, where was I...? Oh yeah, ponies. Dancing Mad. Ponies. Do it, Internet!
#1 is great; #2 is catchy, but I don't see connection between the music and either apples or Applejack. #3 is well-done, but since I've never played FFVI, it doesn't hit any nostalgic notes for me.
Strago: Granny Smith Shadow: Scootaloo Setzer: Doctor Whooves Gau: (this one is a bit of a stumper to me) Mog: Sweetie Belle Umaro: Diamond Dogs Gogo: Derpy Hooves
Wow. Can't say I'm impressed with any of the above. I already have two mixes of Gourmet Race on my YouTube favorites; "Pinkie Pie's Gourmet Race" by TehSaph being my personal favorite version. We've had so many WTPMVs now, that almost every music sample is starting to get tired.
A friend of mine used the original song for #3 during their wedding; I might have to look them up and see whether the ponification of it makes him laugh or puke.
#1 does have pretty awesome comments my personal favorite is "Ponyville space-port, you will never find a more wonderful hive of magic and friendship.
It would probably be a historic YTPMV if you did the entirety of dancing mad, since in all my many years of poop and poop music video watching i have YET to see dancing mad done
Lol, all three of these made my day. I'm a big fan of Star Wars, Kirby and Final Fantasy. =) But then I'm a fan of a lot of things and love seeing them ponified!

ReplyDelete#2 kinda reminds me of Spiralmouth, the group who does the music for some of the later Crash Bandicoot games.
ReplyDelete#1 is really good.
ReplyDeleteNot too familiar with the other two.
But that image...is awesome :)
..I was only just sketchy-doodling a pony/FFVI crossover idea last night...
ReplyDeleteIt must be a SIGN!
@Bombedrumbum Indeed :P
ReplyDelete#1 is awesome, I would get that song stuck in my head all the time when I played lots of Star Wars games.
#2 does justice to one of my favorite soundtracks from a game, thank you for that.
#3 is nice, not sure what the original sounded like, but this one is good

ReplyDelete1 and 2 were really good :) VI and V are th only FFs I haven't played so I don't know the song, but it sounds very familiar to Aeris' Theme for me.
ReplyDeleteLe gasp! Someone must ponify One Winged Angel! Do it! DO IT NAO!
ReplyDeleteAHA! Hes gonna love seeing that up there. Celes is so much better than Aeris too.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely liked #1 and #2 the best, both were really well done xD
ReplyDeleteThese were great!
ReplyDeleteAs for ponifying everything, I have a challenge for our beloved fanbase: I want to see a Phantasy Star Online song. Any takers?
@doomknight Challenge accepted, at least after I do one more song I reckon. =P
ReplyDeleteI rather enjoyed #1, but the other two kinda annoyed me.
ReplyDelete@Aragrist
ReplyDeleteAmen to that.

ME MUCHO GUSTA.
#3 *sheds a manly tear*
ReplyDelete#3 won my heart. I love the way it actually sounds somewhat celtic too. Just great
ReplyDeleteSo... can the rom hack of Final Fantasy VI happen now? Please? And let it be a very well done one? Pretty please?
ReplyDeleteI beg you!!!
#1: HUGE SUCCESS.
ReplyDelete#2: I wanna see AJ kick that damn tree in the face.
#3: Oh, wow, that brings back the memories.
(Oh my hero...) <--

ReplyDeleteI will always love Gourmet Race.

#1 and #2 are flashbacks, man! The time I wasted playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Kirby Air Ride as a kid...
ReplyDelete@Ragneki5880
ReplyDelete#1 does have pretty awesome comments my personal favorite is
"Ponyville space-port, you will never find a more wonderful hive of magic and friendship.
We must be cautious."
#1 Is awesome and Applejack shot first.
ReplyDelete#2 that deserves a dash face /(*3*)\
#3 That drove me tears, Manly Nostalgia driven tears, You win.
@Fasaloft
ReplyDeleteIt would probably be a historic YTPMV if you did the entirety of dancing mad, since in all my many years of poop and poop music video watching i have YET to see dancing mad done
#3: Sing along with Rarity!
ReplyDelete"O my hero, my beloved,
Shall we still be made to part,
Though promises of perennial love
Yet sing here in my heart?
I'm the darkness, you're the starlight
Shining brightly from afar.
Through hours of despair, I offer this prayer
To you, my evening star.
Must my final vows exchanged
Be with him and not with you?
Were you only here To quiet my fear...
O speak! Guide me anew.
I am thankful, my beloved,
For your tenderness and grace.
I see in your eyes,
So gentle and wise,
All doubts and fears erased!
Though the hours take no notice
Of what fate might have in store,
Our love, come what may,
Will never age a day.
I'll wait forevermore!
Lol, all three of these made my day. I'm a big fan of Star Wars, Kirby and Final Fantasy. =)
ReplyDeleteBut then I'm a fan of a lot of things and love seeing them ponified!
