@Bombedrumbum Wait, so I ruined the joke by explaining the joke when the not-getting of the joke was the real joke and now I've doubly ruined it and oh god my head asplode
Personally, when I first saw #2 I originally thought AJ's overreaction was more in reference to the picture johnjoseco did of her crying out that Sea Ponies weren't real (when faced with Sea Pony Lyra).
And then I found out it was instead a reference to her line that she didn't even like seaweed in Applebuck Season.
...I sort of prefer the explanation I came up with, personally. That's just me, though.
#1 Sheesh, that was scarier than I thought it was going to be. Horace can be kinda frightening. Especially when you put him up next to a MLP pony. lol And of course Big Mac has his little Smartypants doll. <3
#2 I get the reference to the part in the episode when she states she didn't like seaweed. Though it kinda seems like there's another reference in this comic besides that. But perhaps not. Either way, with the apples and her position lying on the floor in panel 13, it reminds me of the apple.mov video. lol
#1 was definitely scary.... gotta love that Big Mac is still holding on to Smarty Pants though :P nice artwork too btw, Big Mac looks just like he does in the series
#2 i got the reference right away but i'm not really sure how it's supposed to be funny... AJ doesnt like kelp, ok big deal why the freak out?
