The only thing about the rock tracks on this one is they sound so synthetic. They are well written but the guitars distortion just sounds bad. No offense to the creators however, like i said they are well written.
Seen the Minecraft one before this, and I've never been a big fan of recreating music in another game or something. Mario Paint Compositions, Minecraft, Animal Crossing, etc. are all nice to listen to but it feels like a weaker version of the original. I do love remixes or those 8bit versions. Remixes add a lot to a song. The 8bit ones take out soo much it is amazing. 16 bit versions or Minecraft or whatever take stuff out but not enough to give it the charm of 8bit.
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the syncing per se, but whoever made this apparantly forgot about the little fact that being too far away from a music note keeps you from hearing it. Why more people don't just make a kart to ride in like one of the first pony Minecraft songs is beyond me, that was fantastic.
#1 was okay, I didn't hear anything that was amazing or specifically memorable but it still wasn't bad.
I liked #2, the beginning was really well done. The song sounds quite epic, that is, until the song changed and an opera singer or something started singing; it really just didn't fit the rest of the song all to well IMO. Still thought it was good overall, it had a theme to it and that's better than some songs can boast
#3 Aaaahhh, listened to this on my surround sound headphones and it was like my ear was being violated in a really bad way switching from one ear to the other whenever he turned(not really his fault but I thought it would be nice to give fair warning to others with headphones as well). Other than that, it was well made, no blaring mistakes.
Umm... i know the guy that made it and he didnt cause we were working on it and he got bored so he downloaded an application that he enters the stuff in and it makes it for him
Ahh, I was actually going to ask if there WAS such an application--the most I've ever done with redstone is a handmade XOR gate for the piston entrance to my lair (one of them), and the only thing I've tried to do with note blocks was a failed attempt at a doorbell (didn't really have enough space to make it work on my floating island's entrance).

ReplyDeleteI love that "Pink Nightmare" they put Luna in...
ReplyDeleteOH I GET IT.

@Jelfes Now if only it were synced up a bit better... Others were awesome though!

ReplyDeleteThe first song was terrific.

someone actually picked up that luna in bunnysuit thing :D love it <3
ReplyDeleteFirst was okay, though I didn't find anything particularly cool about it.
ReplyDeleteLiked the second a little more. It's not a bad listen. But found it a little on the boring side too.
And I guess I've just never been much a fan of the Minecraft music. :P
The spacing on the minecraft song could have used a little work, otherwise it was good.
ReplyDeleteThe minecraft one would have been cooler if he did it in game and not have used a program
ReplyDelete@Dash
ReplyDeleteUm, he DID do it in game. Unlike with MarioPaint, there is no external program for creating Minecraft music.
Silly Seth, you already posted the last video before.
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of when I see Luna in a pink bunny costume she obviously doesn't like.... is "YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT, KID."
ReplyDeleteXD
That winter wrap up isn't the best out there...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYCPbyFWzUs <- much better synced.
