It doesn't matter what format or genre Rainbow Dash's part is in. It seriously gets me more pumped than "You're the Best Around" and "Eye of the Tiger" played at the SAME TIME. And yes, I tested this. Oh, and the rest of the song kicks ass, too.
I find it infinitely hilarious how the other characters all get instrumental music for their parts and then RD just gets a screaming guitar solo for hers. I think we need her to sing more so we can get more of that.
Yes. Rainbow Dash's part literally set my Awesome-o-meter on fire. I'm not certain why. It seems that she's been contracted to sing as little as possible to prevent her awesome from exploding the universe. I mean, any Pegasus that can breach Mach 6 unaided and withstand over 9000 g-forces is pretty much 20% cooler than the universe.
Damned fine 8-bit mix. Some of the earlier songs may have felt they had a more bland and simple treatment given to them, but the more recent ones sound like they've been spared no effort!

FIRST and what a fine remix this is!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have missed mentioning Daniel Ingram himself helped out a bit with this one.
ReplyDeleteSomething's wrong with the 'it will be... the... best... night... ever!' part near the end, but other than that it's a fine job.
ReplyDelete>Implying Pinkie's part wasn't the best.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Nothing stirs the fire inside like a good eight measures of Dash.
It's some kind of adorable... I love it!

ReplyDeleteDash's piece wasn't really about the gala - it was about her life's dream. Of course it's more involved than the other five.
