While failure is something we all dread, it's what we do with our failures that matter. Do we let it consume us to the point where it interferes with our lives or do we learn from the experience and allow it to let us grow? Only you can do what you will with your own failures, I just hope you all do what is right for you.

With day 28 staring us in the face, this will be the last of our normal prompts before we wrap things up with our two classic prompts we end every NATG with. It's time for your NATG journeys to wrap up, you're almost home free! That is why for tonight I'd like you to Draw a pony on the last leg of its journey / Draw a pony coming home.

For tonight we managed to snag 60 ponies which now brings us up to 2258 ponies in total!

Now that's more like it! Considering we've been getting a lot of merch news lately I was wondering when we'd start getting more information on the movie itself. Thanks to a short video posted by Netflix themselves, we have a definitive release date, a definitive name, as well as a first look at the cast of the movie itself!

Trying new things requires a bit of courage, a willingness to know that what you getting involved with might be hard at first and that there might be frustration involved. You need to be able to push through the initial pain and keep striving to improve. In the end, even if you find out the thing you tried isn't to your liking at least you gave it a fair shot and that is what matters.

Well, as long as you don't end up hurting yourself like Trixie.

Tying into the idea of new things being hard and frustrating tonight's prompt is something important I think all people, artists or no, need to learn to deal with. Regardless of how good you are at something you are going to end up failing at times. But even in failure, it is important to remember to not dwell on the failure itself and instead turn it into an experience you can learn from. That's why for tonight I'd like you to Draw a pony experiencing failure / Draw a pony tasting bitter defeat.

Sometimes being impulsive can be a good thing if directed towards the right goal. Some of you when this event was announced I'm sure saw it and decided on the spot that it was something you were going to do, no real preparation save for a desire to draw. Art can be the same way, a sudden impulse to draw something that pops into your mind, driving you to complete it, a sense of accomplishment when that sudden idea is down on paper. While this event has been tiring I hope you all have managed to feel the rush of acting on your artistic impulses.

For today our prompt ties into a little bit of what I said before. For a fair number of you, art is something new and exciting, this event maybe being the first time you've actually ever drawn and even for veterans I see them trying new things to expand their horizons. That's why for today I want to you Draw a pony trying something new / Draw a pony reaching for new heights.

G5 Coloring Book Gives New Descriptions to the Cast Cutie Marks

Generation 5 news continues! We've got more coming out of that Finnish book site, with a coloring book and a sticker book providing additional insights into the characters.

New Spike Book Apparently Coming to Finland - My Little Pony. Poni nimeltä Spike (Pony Named Spike)

I was not expecting something from G4 outside of the comics to be our news today, but a new book has been listed over on a Finnish book site called "Poni nimeltä Spike", translating to "Pony Named Spike". It's apparently arriving in on October 4th, so just a few months away. We don't have any information on if there will be an official English translated version of it considering the author is Finnish, but I'm sure one of you crazy industrious fandom goers will translate it if we never do.

For now, there is always Google. I've popped their translation of the description down below.

Good evening, gang! Welcome to another day of the NATG! Hopefully you all had fun with this prompt over the past 24 hours, it was certainly fun seeing all of the different holidays you enjoy and the different ponies getting their groove on. Thanks once again for sharing a little bit about yourself if that was the part of the prompt you chose this time around!

As for the prompt tonight, we know that ponies don't always plan things through, just like people. They can be rash, make bad decisions and do some very silly things. So for tonight I want to give you the chance to get your ponies into some possible trouble by having you Draw an impulsive pony / Draw a pony making a split second decision.

New G5 My Little Pony Underwear Appear

We are here to deliver the news, and with that comes everything at all involving G5! Today, a bunch of underwear appeared starring the various characters of g5. As with the usual random merch, expect these at all those big box stores in the usual sections you'd find this stuff. It looks like they are listed at Target right now.

Composer Alan Schmuckler Lists He and Micheal Maher for Music Credits on My Little Pony G5 Movie

We might have a composer for the music of G5! At least on the movie front. Alan Schmuckler (Who's full credits you can find over on his website) has listed up the upcoming My Little Pony G5 Movie on Netflix as a project he both worked the lyrics and music for, and joining him is another musician Micheal Maher. We still haven't gotten much of a teaser, but considering Pipp seems to be all about the music, I'm sure it will be filled with it.

Equestria Girls "Let It Rain" Follow Up

  

Well since the area I’m living in is getting some intense rain and floods, might as well do an intense power ballad music video about rain. It seemed only fair. And boy what a music video it was. Lots of great lighting, great lyrics and power slides. Because you can’t have a rockin’ acoustic power ballad without power slides. If I were to give this music video a moral, it’s pretty much in the song itself. Even through the hard times, you have to know there’s a light at the end of it all. It’s all right to feel the pain or sadness as long as there’s hope that it gets better. Either that or become Zeus and get lightning powers to force through the weather. Whichever metaphor works for you. Let’s take a look at a Sunset singing in the rain.

With all of our ponies going for gold know that you all are doing the same thing as well! We're quickly approaching the end of this year's NATG and for all of you who have participated, even for a day, you've done your best to get better or at least try out something new. Hopefully, once all is said and done, you'll walk away feeling proud of what you've accomplished.

Now that the July 4th holiday is approaching, I figured we'd try another prompt that would let you share a little bit about yourself with everyone yet again. Like with the seasons, most of us have a favorite holiday of some sort so for today's prompt I want you to Draw a pony celebrating your favorite holiday / Draw a pony being the life of the party.

FLUTTERSHY Music: PSFMer - Shrouded Soul [Drum & Bass]

I always love it when pony tracks have some deep and thoughtful story behind them from the musician and fellow pony fan, and when each part or instrument has some kind of meaning to it in relation to the story! For the others who love that kind of things, you will be delighted with PSFMer's Fluttertrack Shrouded Soul (included in P@D Oceansong) that is all about the progression of the passionate pony throughout the episode from how she found out about her love of singing to overcoming her stage fright with the help of friends. Such a lovely message has been represented here wonderfully, and many parts and instruments in the song are reflecting a certain part of the episode or a trait of Flutter's chara depth as shown in the episode, read all about it from the lengthy description on YouTube that is so appreciated!!
