We Love Fine Changes Chibi Orders - No More Blind Bags!

Good news for all of you disappointed with the way the sets worked earlier on We Love Fine's new Chibi figures. You can now buy any one specifically, without gambling, for 15 bucks a pop, including Chrysalis (who now has an image!).

The full set was also dropped in price, going for $120. This is the only way to get the Discord, who is exclusive to the pack.

Awesome Anime Style Pony Opening - "Working!!"

It has been forever since we had one of these come in. Ponies has had the same opening for five seasons now with a few minor variations between each one. It's pretty much set in stone at this point. Sad News as Cinema Questria Receives C&D From Hasbro

Unfortunately not all news today can be jolly. We have some bad news for you all that use the Cinema Questria stream on Saturdays for MLP. Hasbro has recently sent them a C&D and to comply with their wishes they will not be showing MLP or other Hasbro properties in the future.

Nick Confalone Reveals He Wrote Episode 102

More news coming out on writers for this season as Nick Confalone reveals that he was responsible for episode 102, Party Pooped. With two new writers back to back things are going to be awesomely interesting!

Nick has previous writing experience with Fish Hooks, Johnny Test, Kick Buttowski and a few other projects! Here's wishing him the best of luck when his episode airs!

New Writer Neal Dusedau Wrote Episode 101

Looks like a little more info has leaked out about one of the upcoming episodes! New writer to the series, Neal Dusedau, wrote episode 101, Princess Spike, according to Nick Confalone. It's always exciting to see what sort of episodes new writers can come up with so here's hoping that he has a great debut!

Writing primarily for Fish Hooks and an episode or two of Johnny Test some years back he has some writing experience for sure! Hope he has fun writing about our crazy little equines.

Current Equestria Daily Event Reminder - Pony Collection, Tree Hugger Tree Planting, and Writing Training Ground

We somehow ended up with three events all running at the same time. Imagine that. It's like 2012 all over again! Since these guys are kind of clogging our headlines over there, I figured I'd get a single hub post going for all of them.

So, what all should you be doing to get involved with this crazy fandom of ours? If you can do the following:

Take a picture of your pony collection (Deadline: May 23rd)
Plant a seed or tree for Tree Hugger (Deadine: June 15th)
Write a pony fanfic, either for the first time ever or as a veteran (Deadline: Saturday, and repeats weekly)

Tumblr Spotlight: The Horse Wife

Every so often a tumblr comes along that knocks the socks off of people, myself included. The Horse Wife has only been around for about half a month, but it's frequent updates and absolutely adorable art and story have propelled it to the 3000 follower range already!

The premise is simple, but incredibly effective. A pony from Equestria has found her way to our world and has fallen in love, so much so she has married the guy. Following her innocent naivety while adjusting to human life at the same time, join her and her husband as she conquers the washing machine, the evil Science Oven, and the terrors of Meat Day!

We Love Fine Reveals their New Chibi Figure Lineup!

We've had teasers pop up throughout the last week, but now we finally have the actual figures themselves appearing on their website! It looks like they are running with a blind bag style format here for at least the ultra rares, with $15 bucks each or $156 for an entire case. Each case includes:

2 Flutterbat
2 Rarity
2 Vinyl Scratch
2 Pinkie Pie
2 Princess Twilight
1 Derpy - Semi Rare
1 Ultra Rare of the 2 villains (Chrysalis and Discord?)

Bought singly you have a 2/12 chance of getting Flutterbat, Rarity, Vinyl, or Twilight. A 1/12 chance of getting Derpy and a 1/24 chance of getting the Ultra Rare which appears to be either Chrysalis or Discord. 

Pre-orders are available now, with estimated shipping date being December 16th.

I thought the days of having nine or more covers per issue were behind us. Silly me for ever thinking that! Hopefully this will just be a once in a while short of deal and not end up as a bi-weekly release… again.

Anyways, aside from the large number of variant covers, we have us a perfect story to bring the fandom together for some good clean summer fun. A Ponyville… Civil… war.

This is probably going to be hilarious if the cover by Agnes Garbowska is any indication. After all, shouldn't the town of Ponyville know better than to be on that side of Pinkie's Party Cannon? Especially when it's loaded with apple pies?

I'm sure the usual below will contain a nice refresher for those forgetful Ponyvillians!
