The music in this show is one of the things I look forward to each season! I'm really glad cartoons in general, not just MLP, have been doing musical numbers. It really does add something to the overall presentation.

GalaCon Update: Regarding ChuckyBB

Some confusion has arisen from a recent announcement by GalaCon about the attendance of community guest ChuckyBB. Initially it was thought that he worked in some capacity with DHX, but it has come to the staff of GalaCon's attention that this is not the case after verifying information with DHX higher ups.

Update: DHX Management has confirmed the info below!

TrotCon 2015 Theme Announcement

TrotCon 2014 was an absolute blast! It was one of the funnest times I've had with my friends in a long time and I can't wait for next year (I promise I'll have a write up for it, I've got something special planned!). MLP Collectible Card Game Breaks Into Top Charts for June

And I thought the original trading cards were selling like hotcakes! According to a press release by Diamond Comic Distributors that monitors all sorts of merchandise from toys, to comics, to cards has pegged the CCG at number two and number ten on the best selling list for games in June!

No wonder Hasbro was able to break a billion dollars on their girls line!

Comic: Family Ties / Sweet Apple Summer / Little Apples / Find Yourself Pt 1 / Grumpy Discord

Guess that would explain some things. But if Apple Family cooking is as good as we hear it is I'd do anything to go to one of their reunions too.

More comics guys! We even have one that just hit 50 pages (Find Yourself) about a young pegasus named Alice that has yet to find her destiny after all these years. It's a vector comic and looks pretty good! Check out page one below among the rest.

Box Revealed for the SDCC MLP Exclusive

Awhile back we reported that Mane-iac and Humdrum would be the exclusive for this year's Comic-Con! Now we have an image of the two complete in box. Looking pretty good I must say and it'll be a welcome addition to the other SDCC exclusives from conventions past.

Tabitha St. Germaine and Andrea Libamn Attending Fan Expo in Canada

Fan Expo in Toronto on August 28th to the 31st will be hosting both Tabitha St. Germaine and Andrea Libman as guests. If you want a more general purpose convention as opposed to the adrenline shot of a pure pony convention, this might be a good way to meet them!

BronyCon Updates - Secret Animation Project and Volunteers Needed At Brony Thank You fund

A couple of updates for BronyCon for all of you planning to attend.

First off, the folks behind "Children of the Night" have been hired to animate a Teaser Trailer to be showcased at the 'Custom Toymaking 101' Panel. You can speculate with the image above!

And below the break, Brony Thank You Fund is looking for some assistance from volunteers.  If you have some time and want to help them out, head on down below the break for the information on it!

MLP and IDW to have Panels at Comic-Con

Looks like the schedule for San Diego Comic-Con is starting to pop up and ponies are once again getting their share of attention at the event in the form of an MLP panel as well as an IDW panel.

Game: Robin Steele the Waifu Thief

Nothing like a cute little game to start the day. It may be relatively short, but the music used is cute and the game concept is solid. Plus you get to beat up Flash Sentry which is a plus for some of you out there!

Portland Mercury Reponds to "A Brony Tale" Review Critisism

As with most pony related media posts from the general news world, Portland Mercury appears to have been surprised by the large influx of angry pony fans over the comments they made in their Brony Tale review.  To help quell the flames a bit, a followup article was posted that digs through a few of the comments, both bad and good.
