We had a horrible day for pony animation today with Hasbro cracking down on a beloved animator and others leaving the fandom and dropping projects entirely. Luckily Hasbro lightened up over the years, but it really did scare some people into avoiding major projects just for the risk of our toy-brand overlord cleaning house.

It was a busy day today in horseland!
Jan Animations officially announced that their work had received a Cease and Desist from Hasbro today, effectively killing off the Button Mash series and forcing him to de-publish some of those amazing projects we had seen over the years. Mike Vogel, Hasbro Studios VP chimed in and wanted to help, but Button Mash never did find a way to return.
We also had a poni episode, and this cute Dashie shipping animation.
2015
EQD started fishing for a mascot today! I'll go into detail on how that went once we get to the day we announced the winners on. tl;dr: it was a mess. 
2016
Duo Cartoonist quit the fandom today. A sad day for anyone who loved their amazing animation projects, which are still some of the absolute best we had over the years. This one hurt.
