Archie, one of the fandom's premier musicians, is currently in bad shape and friends of his are holding a fundraiser to help pay his medical bills. What exactly is going on? Well, Archie is currently suffering from a kidney infection as well as a cyst that has been discovered to be growing near collar bone that could threaten his brain by pushing against it or by even popping.

With the secret re-opening of Starswirl's portal happening deep within the caves behind Canterlot, a new research mission has been commissioned by the Royal Society of Explorers. For those of you that haven't been following the comic, this one allows you to travel to other worlds while remaining a pony. Unfortunately due to a limit on the energy available at the moment while Twilight figures out how the thing fully works, only one pony will be able to pass through and return safely.
As an ambassador who has been contacted via a cross-dimension communication spell, you have been picked to choose which pony it will be out of these five: Rarity, Twilight, Lyra, Trixie, or Celestia. Why only those? Because it requires a horn to help channel, and they just happened to be doing various things at the castle when Celestia cracked the portal code!
This pony will then be hired on by Hasbro to do a reality TV Series over the summer exploring earth while we wait for new episodes! Which one would you like to see discover the secrets of humanland most? As a reminder, unlike Equestria Girls, they will remain cartoon ponies. Choose wisely! Hit the comments up with your pick, and a brief idea on how you think they will react to the various wonders of our world. -

A sad day for convention goers as EQLA shuts its doors. As some of you may remember they went on hiatus months ago, but have now decided to end their run. Still, great work EQLA team! Thanks for bringing us all two awesome conventions.

Good news for the swarms of you playing the MLP CCG! The official release date has been announced for Canterlot Nights. On May 16th, you will gain access to an extra 200 cards and both Celestia and Luna as brand new main character ponies (previously announced). Some extra information in regards to those two was also included in the release:
Celestia Theme Deck
Main Color: Yellow, paired with Rarity (White)
Luna Theme Deck
Main Color: Purple, paired with Rainbow Dash (Blue)
On top of that, expect both Chrysalis and DJ-Pon3 to make their debut appearances, along with a new gameplay mechanic called "Pumped". There wasn't any extra information given on that one, but I'm sure we will see it soon.
Expect loads of pre-release events on the 9th-11th of May across 100 stores throughout North America. Prices for the theme decks will be clocking in at $11, with the usual boosters going for $3.50.

Holy cow, when you guys go all out you go all out! In another example of this fandom amazes the crap out of me we have this absolutely massive mosaic poster made completely out of beads. How many beads? Almost 1 million beads to make this roughly 2 meter high and 3 meter long which took a year and a half to make and almost $1000 in materials.
Kudos to you creator! This post is for you because you certainly do deserve it! Please pay them a visit at their dA page linked below and leave a comment. They really deserve it.

Even though it does not show Equestria, all good little colts and fillies can be assured that Luna’s Night Guard are hard at work on this special night.

WOAH, I'm actually doing an Applejack episode followup. How the hay did that happen?
Yes good citizens of Equestria Daily, I do have a bad reputation when it comes to Ponyville's #1 applebucker. In fact, before this episode, I was never much of a fan of the apple family in general. Good ol' country livin' and ancient tradition just ain't my style. She and her apple loving kin always seemed a bit bland in my book. We have rainboomer, adorkable super mage, partiespartiesparties, crazy cat lady, and heart attack bait stealing the spotlight. I just didn't have room for her!
NO MORE THOUGH. Applejack has been redeemed! Why, for a good two or three hours yesterday she even hit the very top of my best pony tier list! I never thought that would happen, just like I never thought I'd be up until 7am doing a giant post about cartoon horses. Life sure is crazy. But also reliable. Like GLORIOUS Applejack. So Reliable. All the time. Best Pony.

Here is one that came completely out of nowhere. A new easter display for the Funrise plushies has added both Trixie and Derpy, along with a whole bunch of rainbowy maned mane six and current funrise favorites. With the holiday right around the corner, chances are these will be popping up at Walmarts and Targets all over the place soon. Now we just need to get them some hats!

I saw this lovely picture of Silver Spoon and just had to use it tonight. She does look lovely when not sneering at other ponies. Why not Applejack? Well, that is where you guys come in!
