2011
4chan as a whole was dealing with a flood of pony content in every corner of the website, and wars were going on with some being banned and others being allowed. Due to the flood, they limited pony posting to specific pony posts, and banned it everywhere else.
Furry sites on the other hand were not so strict. They remained ponied for years.
2012
Remember the Brony Show? They did a neat Jayson Thiessen show this around this time.

2013
Luna that desperately needed a regular figure for people that didn't want to color one, and an amazzing fan creation with Applejack!
2014
Civilization is flooded by poni, Snowponies get posted in a big event!
2015
Slow day, so have horse art!
Jem and the Holigrams flopped, the pony movie did not! We didn't know that yet, and neither did Forbes who wrote an article comparing the two. Also Argodaemon animation.
2017
Lots of new EG characters are revealed on the My Little Pony site.
